My name is Andrew. I began studying "A Course in Miracles" over a decade ago when I was 21-years-old. After some down time, I am now returning to study the Course. I decided I'd like to share my thoughts with other Course students. My study of "A Course in Miracles" focuses primarily on the works of Dr. Kenneth Wapnick and the publications of Foundation for A Course In Miracles.

My wallpaper image is a picture of me with Dr. Kenneth Wapnick when I met him in 2003 after his presentation at the Unity of Seattle. While Dr. Wapnick's works (books, CDs, etc.) have deeply influenced my study of A Course In Miracles, please note that this channel is not affiliated with any ACIM teacher or institution. This channel is my own personal channel and it simply contains my own reflections on A Couse In Miracles and my overall spiritual journey.

Thank you for your comment. Yes, I'm aware of Wapnick's comments on the matter. I began reading Wapnick's books and listening to his tapes when I was 21-years-old, which is more than a decade ago. While I don't mix "A Course In Miracles" with Buddhism or Hinduism, I'm still very interested in the underlying theme that the physical universe is an illusion. It's a concept I'd had since early childhood, and it was interesting for me to find the Course and realize that it is the underlying concept of the Course -- and that the concept was presented long before the Course by way of Buddhism and Hinduism, etc. Anyway, thanks for the comments. ~ Andrew

The Buddha spoke to the individual. Over time Buddhism translated to a societal scale and became a dualistic system, thus,at the relative level it retains all the specialness and magic-mindedness in content that other religious forms maintain. All Buddhist societies in the world are a peaceful mess because they so easily lend themselves to corruption.ACIM and the higher forms of Buddhism do merge in content, but it is important to understand that Buddhism is still very much part of the ego-thought system and burns in duality.
Ken Wapnick has said that once you have accepted ACIM as your path one should stick to it and not bend into other forms, which may amount to,as the Course would say, "a delay maneuover".
Thank You - Thats all I wanted to add - Cheers!

The higher forms of Buddhism begins where the organized conventional religions end.
I live in a Buddhist society and when I met Western people it is interesting how the thoght system is based on the premise that 1+1=2..... but to a Buddhist 1+1 = "whatever you want it to be" - there in lies the difference, one believes the world is real while the other knows it is not.

I just talk about what I feel I need to talk about at the moment. I've lost six family members in the last ten years, so death has been a big part of my life lately, unfortunately.
