Your videos have been very helpful!! I have musty water coming out of my softener. On a plumber's advice, I ran some bleach through which has not helped. I would like to check the resin but am not sure how hard to crank on the valve to get it to unscrew. The only way to get the valve off of the tank is to unscrew it, right? I surely don't want to break anything.
