Same goes here! I read somewhere that the powers that be originally planned for the 1959 version (w/Bergman) to be released as part of an extra special feature on The Innocents but as you know not only did this not happen but The Innocents dvd came out with no special features at all! Criteron needs to release as a 2 disc special.

Thanks for friending me - I can't get enough of James' story either and The Innocents is truly one of the best adaptations. Have you seen the Masterpiece Theatre version with Jodhi May?

Regarding your comment on Nosferatu-BOC-Kinski... Right you are, this got past me LOL. I hadn't noticed aspect ratio had changed during production. Agree on Widescreen as the way to go. Thank you for the kind words and technical improvement. I sub'd, now it's your call. Peace:-)
