THE MEAN KITTY CHANNEL'S PURPOSE:
To remind us all that pets aren't just a piece of furniture in our homes... even though they can look that way sometimes. : )
We'll show you new ways to love your pets by simply spending a little more time with them each day.
ABOUT SPARTA:
Sparta (the brown one) is a male and looks like a bengal mixed with something from the jungle. He was born sometime in mid-2007 so we celebrate his birthday on May 20th. A little girl in Los Banos, Califoria was going door to door trying to find him a home when he was finally accepted by our friends Steve and Bernie. Our friends had young kids who weren't ready for a kitten so Stephanie and I brought him in. He adopted us in July of 2007. Unfortunately he was diagnosed with feline leukemia but vets aren't 100% sure if that's the case because his tests keep coming back with mixed results. Sparta love stalking, wrestling, being held like a baby and playing fetch.
ABOUT LOKI:
Loki (the white one) is a male and he is half cat and half monkey. We found him at a rescue center at Pet Smart in Newbury Park, California. He chose us in July of 2008 and is about the same age as Sparta. He loves playing with toys, traveling, hanging upside down, being spanked and attention from anyone who'll give it to him.
