Welcome to my YouTube channel!
This is a venue on which I eagerly look forward to publishing my film reviews, commentaries and discussions in future. I have, as of yet, posted less than a handful of videos, but stay tuned!
About Me:

I am an amateur journalist currently living in Victoria, Australia. I am a passionate writer, and often enjoy researching and discussing current issues that take my fancy in the newspaper. I have also dabbled in Poetry and short fiction in the past, and now hold a consistent working relationship as a film reviewer (unpaid, of course) with a local newspaper.
I am currently studying toward a Bachelor of Arts degree, but I can never resist writing or pondering in my spare time.
Country:
Australia
Hobbies:
Writing (journalism, short stories, poetry), art, current issues (modern media and education, Obama presidency, nuclear programs, ethics, environmentalism, religion-vs-science), science (cosmology, genetics, evolution), philosophy (just casual), old video-games, Russian history.
Movies:
Films: 2001-A Space Odyssey, Avalon (Japanese), Metropolis (1926), Salem's Lot (2004) , The Omen (original), Gamera 2, V for Vendetta and Red Dragon.
Music:
My tastes in music span across four largely disparate genres: opera, classical, rock and metal.
Books:
The Gnole (Alan Aldridge), 'Manifold: Space' and 'The Time Ships' (Stephen Baxter), The Time Machine (H. G. Wells), 'The Partly-Cloudy Patriot' and 'Take the Cannoli' (Sarah Vowell), The Dilbert Future (Scott Adams), The Arrival (Shaun Tan), Barlowe's Guide to Extraterrestrials (Wayne Barlowe) and Inventing the Future (David Suzuki).

I don't mind the new channel format, though I was rather annoyed to see that YouTube dropped most of my playlists.
My various reviews with Victor and the Talk Time session with TheInfiniteHope have been removed from my Playlists page, oddly enough.

The new format sucks! :(

I saw 'Frost/Nixon' in the cinemas on Tuesday, and even scored the poster for myself.
I would confidently say that this evening had been the most satisfying time I have ever had at the movies.
Seek this film out, and I guarantee that you will be in awe.
