Strongly influenced by progressive rock and drawing from a wide range of genres going from world beat and jazz fusion to symphonic music and free form improvisation, the poligrafists propose ornate musical ladders intended to help fallen angels reach their respective heavens.
Intensely bombastic or deeply introspective, beautifully simple or freakingly complex, overly dramatic or delightfully playful, the music leaves few listeners unmoved, as Poligraf uses every trick in the book to make sure that you get your wings back.

morehttp://lacaserne.net/index2.php/other... Ex machina's latest architectural show, hundreds of spots on the Bunge building crating northern lights impressions, still in programming/testing, filmed from my roof the music is an old "song" i did about ten years ago, a frind of mune was playing the piano in the studio and i tweaked a IIRC leicon ot TC rack delay (may have been a prime time)
if I recall the papers a few months back, this show should go on all winter (and I hope all year round) at dusk untill like 11PM or something like that)
here is the official statement: English version coming soon.
• Creation and production team of 53 people. Architectural structure • Bunge - Canada grain elevators in the Old Port of Quebec.
• Building Size - Width: 600 meters - Height: 30 meters. Equipment • 574 lighting fixtures using LED technology (Light Emitting Diode).
• 1000 white light sources (stars) with LED 21 W each.
• All lighting type IP65 units are adapted for the worst possible weather conditions.
• 2 lighting boards operating in redundancy.
• 1.4 kilometers of fiber optic cables, 6 km of DMX cables and 4 km of power cables.
• 160 aluminum supports fused to the waterproof membrane of the roof of the Bunge silos.
Energy Consumption • The energy consumption of Aurora Borealis is in the order of 105 kilowatts, for a grand total of 2 881 672 lumens (574 fixtures and 1000 stars LED lit at full power).
• If we use traditional technology, 1 647 incandescent bulbs of 100 W each (domestic models) would be required to achieve the same level of brightness than with the LED lighting. These incandescent bulbs would generate a total of 165 kW. With the LED technology, we cut our energy consumption by 57%.
