In a bizarre incident, kamukunji member of parliament simon mbugua assaulted ntv reporter robert nagila last night at the serena hotel here in nairobi. The mp who shouted obcenities punched and pulled the reporter as security guards attempted to restrain him. The ntv reporter sustained an injury on his right eye. The attack by mbugua comes after repeated threats to nagila and other ntv journalists whom the mp accuses of spoiling his name.
