As for the first act of the game though, it's decent... definitely feels like an FF minus the traditional victory fanfare (even after Boss battles :( )

In a sense though, I played FFXIII months ago, because the start of the demo IS apparently the start of the ctual game thanks to some screenshots that surfaced. Hmm. I was hoping I'd get to see all the characters meet each other, then again maybe I will... there's no way Snow is doing all that rebel crap before he finds out Serah is a l'cie.

Yeah.. because I'm so lucky they're totally going to ship out FFXIII today from Japan and have it delivered all the way to my doorstep (without getting stopped in customs or caught in the christmas post) in the UK to play on the release date :3
