This page is designed to chronicle the archaeological excavations at George Washington's Ferry Farm on the Stafford County side of the Rappahannock River in Fredericksburg, Virginia. The site is the boyhood home of George Washington, the site of the celebrated cherry tree story, and the events of the first president's upbringing. These films show students from the University of South Florida and other schools learning the arts of field excavation and turning those skills loose on the site.
