Cold weather detecting..with Tman-from-Texas, ....the first 3 1/2 hours...then 2 1/2 hours by myself...I will have to now call him SnowManfromTexas...for this winters season...L.O.L.
I got lucky & found 3 silver (Scratched 2 tho ^#**+$*-)
Hope to detect all the way threw December..And hope to be able to get together with, and get TreasureFiend out to find his 49th and 50th silvers for 2009.....It is getting to where the ground is rock hard in places,but as long as I can break ground with my digging tools...I'll keep getting out there....
Last January 1st (2009)...I found my 1st silver of the year(In the woods)It was a Merc....I hope to be that lucky this New Years day......Then I can Hibernate for the winter ...L.O.L.

It was 4 degrees when I went to work this morning. With winds over 25 mph...Too Cold to work..After standing at the gate waiting to have security let me out...I started shivering so much...I thought I was dancing... I went home & got my pocket camcorder to do a little intro for the video,and by 11 am ...It was still only 8 degrees.... We appreciate those that have better weather down south..Making and posting detecting videos for us Northeners that can't get out cause the weather is too frigid..... I still have videos from september & October,as well as my last few hunts in the begining of this month that I have not posted yet....This video is from Last saturday...Dec 6th 2009...Where I killed a S.L.Q......While not taking my time recovering it from close to a tree root. I look forward to seeing some more December detecting videos,and January detecting videos from our southern brothers and sisters....Keep um comming.....We are still 'Jonesin' for those finds & relics... Have a Merry Christmas, and a Happy 2010 New Year.....God Bless You ALL

I tried to capture on film my journey to the most silver coins found in 1 year. Included is footage of my last 11 silver found on that journey...Pictures of silver that I have posted on Metal detiecting forums this year...Such as....3,4,5,6,7,8,and 14 silvers found in singal days detecting trips...My 50th silver found in 2009,My 100th silver coin found in 2009, my 1st & 2nd 100 silver coins together..Or my 200th silver coin found in 2009....My 1st & only Silver Dollar ever found,and a 1/2 dollar,and a couple rare silver coins found like my 1896 O Barber quarter....We are going to try to hunt till the last day of December 2009....To try to tally 1000 silver coins for a year (Between 3 detecting buddies..So stay tuned for further silver hunting trips....Happy Hunting
