I just wished to share my thanks. I'm not yet a ham; in the process of studying. I followed your instructions and I have been about to use my little Grundig G3 with a mic and the software to listen. It is very fun to decode those unusual signals!!!
Thanks so much Randy, I appreciate your help.

Nice videos, Randal. Right now my shack consists of my home office with my puny little 5-watt handheld sitting on the desk next to the computer and a wire running to a mag-mount antenna I have mounted to a metal 1/4-pound dumbbell weight sitting in my windowsill. Over time I hope to approximate the look and feel of your shack, but it will take a little while!

Hi Randy
Next time you come to the UK let me know if you want to do any portable operating as I can provide antennas and masts etc... save you bringing bulky items with you

Just got my license a few days ago. I never thought of pairing youtube with ham radio, what a really neat idea. I wanted to ask what kind of audio mixer are you using. I recognize the model but I dont remember who makes it or what it is called.

Hi Randy, Richard from Australia. I have been a subscriber for a while, great videos. I am in the process of trying to save a few dollars and get a decent radio and getting my licence. I find your videos to be really interesting and informative. I am only operating on 11m at the moment but hope that to change very soon.
Thankyou again for the free info given out.

Randy, thanks so much for your videos. I got licensed last summer as a technician, and then this past fall upgraded to general. Your videos got me motivated to actually go get my license. I hope you will be posting more instructional videos in the near future. Happy New Year!
