Welcome to my channel. My interest is in history and historical events, their connections with music and musical compositions, and the use of music as historical evidence. In this channel I hope to upload some clips of political, protest or folk music; music linked with historical periods or events or songs written retrospectively about things from the past. I'm always on the lookout for new clips that are relevant so feel free to give me any hints.
My interest in this field comes from my study (I have a Masters degree in history) my work (I'm a History teacher and author of several history textbooks) and my hobbies (I play piano and guitar and have a long interest in music culture).
