Ah, the 80's! What an awesome time that was! Hitting the Galaxy in Somerdale NJ every weekend to meet up with friends and catch some great bands. Wow, I miss those days!
I love Def Leppard (duh!),Styx(I freakin love Tommy Shaw),Damn Yankees(again,
duh!),Warrant,Cinderella,Tesla , Whitesnake,Motley Crue,Skid Row,Night Ranger,Bon Jovi,Extreme,Mr Big,Queensryche,GNR, and the list goes on. There were several local bands that played around Phila & Jersey that were awesome, Heavens Edge,Ivory Tower,Whitefox. And the band that started it all for me "The Dead End Kids" back in 1980-81 (Summer in Wildwood NJ). Check out their video in my favorites. But my heart was with my boys Vic,Steve,Ron,& Mitch my buddies in Pyramid. Check them out in my videos. A band that was truly underrated & deserving of a record contract. Love & miss you guys!! Nothing compares to the 80's era. A decade of decadence,fun,great music,goofy clothes(I'm guilty) and big hair (again, guilty!).
