Atheism is a result, not a belief. It is the conclusion one must come to when one operates mentally, logically, and demand empirical evidence for everything. I am not an atheist first and foremost, but an empiricist; therefore I am an atheist as a result.

As for reality. Either its inside your head as a reflection of reality or an illusion, or you accept it as external. For me, it is the dessert of the real; I wish it was in color, but it is what it is.
