I often prefer cake rather than pie. However if ice cream is an option I would rather have it on a piece of pie rather than cake. Does this mean that I would appreciate an ice cream pie? No I would not. I would indulge upon a piece of ice cream cake, however. This does not mean that a cake flavor of ice cream would suit me. Nor does the notion of pie flavored ice cream. Ironically my favorite flavor of ice cream is lemon custard. Does this mean I like custards? Certainly not. Although I would prefer a custard flavored ice cream pie cake if such a thing existed. Alas, it does not. And what of cobbler? No thank you.
