A British-born singer & songwriter, Ritchie emigrated in 1972 to Brazil, where he has enjoyed a successful recording career, singing mostly in Portuguese.
In 1983 he released his 1st multiplatinum LP, "Vôo de Coração", spawning five chart-topping singles, including the smash hit, "Menina Veneno".
He has released 9 solo albums and recorded with Caetano Veloso, Gilberto Gil, Wagner Tiso, Jim Capaldi, Steve Hackett, Dominic Miller, Lulu Santos, Lobão, Ultraje a Rigor, Flávio Venturini, Kid Abelha, Vinicius Cantuária & Patrick Moraz, among others.
Ritchie also runs his own music label & publishing company, PopSongs. The label's first release, 2009's "Ritchie - OUTRA VEZ (ao vivo no estúdio)", featured here on YouTube, was also the first Bluray Disc™ by a local artist to be manufactured in Brazil.
