Here is the news story in full, complete with audio. Listen closely, and you'll hear the Lumina braking, indicating the black Ranger turned in front of him. Note the color of the traffic lights when the camera pulls out. Green. Both were apparently gunning for the light change...

German: Offizieller Crashtest für das Modell ab 1996 - Man sieht, dass das neue Modell beim Offset-Crash bei ca. 56 km/h völlig kollabiert, Lenksäule bricht weg, Airbag schiesst nach oben, Cockpit und Pealerie dringen weit in den Innenraum, Fahrgastzelle knickt ein.
