"Polynove pole" (The Wormwood field) is an ukrainian gothic-metal band formed in L'viv, in 2005. During over three-years career they took parts in all major ukrainian rock-festivals. Media proclaimed them, as one of the most successful ukrainian live-act band. In 2006 they played on one stage with Swedish doom-metal legend "Lake of Tears", during their recent tour. "Polynove Pole" released their first demo in 2005. It achived a strong public attention and good reviews in media. The first single "Chysti Dushi" (The Purity of Souls) is available now for public views on www.polynovepole.com.ua(offici al web-site).

These days the band is working on their debut album. Music of "Polynove Pole" is a bewitching mixture of doom-metal with gothic melancholy and traditional ukrainian folk . Band's lyrics carry their own philosophy, and take an inspiration from ancient pagan beliefs, that were strong in Ukraine centuries ago.
