hey man, i love the videos. i have a question though. I realize that speeding fast enough can get you locked up for a couple hours and maybe a $1000 bail/fine whatever here in the states but impersonating a police officer is in most places a high grade felony w/ serious bail and time... thus their isnt a vid of you blazing your siren/lights through heavy rush hour traffic stateside... but you do do it in europe in with some frequency... does the same concern not exist there??

I just finished reading The Driver. Alex, you did an amazing job! I'd recommend the book to anyone who's a fan of driving fast. When you read the book and discover all the work Alex puts into his driving, you then understand why so few people do it successfully. Rallying at his level is truly for the dedicated few (and I'm certainly not one of them!).

But The Driver is certainly a great way to live vicariously! I got worn out just reading about the racing.

Now I'll sit patiently waiting for the movie.

It would be funny if you made your bmw's license plate flip so if you got pulled over you could flip it and the other tag say "USUCK12" - funny!

A stunning M5, a great driver and an enourmously entertaining book.

My first copy of the driver got ruined by a class of cola on a mission :( Just bought my second copy, and read the battle of rome. Absolutely fantastic. Can't wait for the video. I might kill myself with tension. (Well I won't)

Any idea when the full video will be released? Is it the entire of the batlle of rome chapter in the book? Will it be YouTube or pay to download / dvd?
