Local Coordination Committees in Syria

By the end of Monday the Local Committees documented 75 martyrs, including 7 women, 4 children and 1 martyr under torture: 47 martyrs were reported in Damascus and its suburbs, most of them in Douma; 9 in Aleppo; 7 in Daraa; 5 in Idlib; 3 in Deir Ezzor; 3 in Homs; and 1 in Hama

The Committees have documented 301 points of bombing in various Syrian cities and towns. Aviation bombardments by warplanes counted in 37 points in various regions. Explosive barrels were dropped in 6 points. Shelling using Surface-to-Surface missiles counted for in 7 points. Scud rockets were reported in 5 points. Cluster shelling was reported in Sarmada, Saraqeb and the Eastern suburbs of Idlib, vacuum shelling was reported in Faletah and Marjeh in Aleppo, Sarmada in Idlib and MOhasan in Deir Ezzor; phosphorous shelling was reported in Sbenah and Yabroud in Damascus Suburbs. Mortar shelling counted in 96 points, artilleryshelling counted in 88 points; while rocket shelling counted for 60 points on various parts of Syria.

Free Syrian army clashed with regime forces in 142 points, where FSA was able to storm into Mohair battalion within the tri-border with Jordan and Iraq. In Rakka, FSA was able to damage a helicopter hovering over Tabaqa Military Airport and forced it for an emergency landing. In Deir Ezzor, FSA was able to address a helicopter striking the city and to shell Deir Ezzor military airport and missiles battalion using mortars. In Drousha in Damascus suburbs, FSA targeted officers dorms and the city's checkpoint with several shells. In Beit Jan FSA secured the defection of 10 soldiers from the second Company in the 90th brigade. In Qalamoun FSA targeted checkpoint of Jarajir village killing several soldiers and injuring others. On Damascus international airport road, FSA targeted Air Force intelligence detachment. In Zamalka, FSA targeted a group of regime forces stationed next to the electricity Company with homemade bombs. In Khan Al-Assal in Aleppo, FSA targeted a building gathering regime forces. In the heart of the city of Aleppo, FSA targeted Political security branch with mortar shells for the second consecutive day. In Idlib, the defection of 10 soldiers of Wadi al-Dhayf Camp was secured. In Maarat Noman, FSA targeted Sahian checkpoints with heavy machine guns and mortar. In Qunaitra, FSA secured the defection of 400 soldiers, who joined FSA. In Izra in Daraa FSA targeted Military dorms with mortar shells which resulted of killing and injuring several regime soldiers and thugs. In Tseel in Daraa, FSA froced regime forces to withdraw from the municipality checkpoint and engineering company and completely burned the barracks. FSA also exploded Sekka bridge on the international road between Damascus and Daraa to cut the regime supplies coming to Daraa. In Hama, FSA targeted an officer and several of his Shabeeha. In Lattakia, FSA tageted several points controlled by regime forces in Khirbet Baz and Katf Sahawneh.
