    Fact Fans: 'This was my first "life-like" pumpkin carving and I wasn't sure how it would turn out? It took me just over 4 hours to complete and the main tools I used where a dessert spoon, a penknife, a breadknife and a screwdriver. I carved out the seeds etc and scraped the pumpkin thickness to around 1-2cm. I drew out the head shape and different shaded areas, with the pen knife and started cutting out the brightest white spaces after. For the very detailed areas (especially around the eyes!), I'd make 2 holes with the precission screwdriver and then broke through the gap (carefully) I only realised it had worked out, once I had placed the candle inside.'
