Intellectual property laws need to be reworked for the internet generation, as a creator myself, I would be absolutely fine with people using my material without my permission provided it was not for profit and what a reasonable person would consider good enough taste. There is no longer a place for "representatives" of intellectual property to be parading around trying to control everything, it's poor form IMHO.
