TALKS FROM MORNING SATSANG ON SEPTEMBER 13, 2012 IN TIRUVANNAMALAI, INDIA
Bhagavad Gita (Song of God) is a timeless treatise on the essence of living enlightenment. The Gita was imparted by the enlightened Hindu incarnation Sri Krishna to the warrior-prince Arjuna over 5000 years ago. Amazingly, the spiritual wisdom and life solutions offered in the Gita are so universal and current that even today it is used as a personal transformation guide.
In today's talk on Bhagavad Gita, chapter 6, verse 14, Paramahamsa Nithyananda (Swamiji) describes the spiritual effect of brahmacharyam (sacred celibacy). Brahmacharis embody intense clarity and focus, enabling them to complete any project or practice flawlessly. As the internal energy rises beyond the first chakra, it establishes fearlessness (2nd chakra) and then permanent serenity (3rd chakra). Each chakra flowers in turn, culminating with the crown chakra, which grants enlightenment. -

In today's talk on Bhagavad Gita, chapter 5, verse 24, Paramahamsa Nithyananda (Swamiji) continues his discussion on the nature of spiritual happiness. When we exist in an unaware state, some part of our being becomes dominant; for example, some people are focused on physical activities, some on mental pursuits, and so on. Our perception of happiness derives from how we perceive ourselves -- as a strong body, sharp mind or devoted spirit. When we raise ourselves to understand that we are beyond all these identities, then we find the source of spontaneous inner joy. -

TALKS FROM MORNING SATSANG ON 12 August 2012 IN KATHMANDU NEPAL
In today's talk on Bhagavad Gita, chapter 5, verse 24, Paramahamsa Nithyananda (Swamiji) reminds us that inner joy under all circumstances is a necessity. We usually look at happiness as something we gain from outside ourselves, and something rare that we are lucky to find. Paramahamsa corrects this delusion. Bliss does not depend on anything external; and it is not a luxury, rather a basic need for survival. It is part of our transformation to establish a well of joy within ourselves.

TALKS FROM MORNING SATSANG ON JULY 16 2012 IN Kodailanal, INDIA
In today's morning satsang, Paramahamsa Nithyananda (Swamji) takes questions from devotees. One questioner asks whether it is possible for the human body to contain the frequency of enlightenment , and states that he is willing to risk death to become enlightened. Paramahamsa answers that the primary obstacle to achieving enlightenment is our fear of death. Once we decide that we are willing to die for the sake of an experience, death loses its power over us. We become strong enough to hold the energy of awakened kundalini within our nervous system. We achieve the yogic body required to support the Vedic mind of an enlightened being.
So long as we are weakened by dread, our nervous system cannot raise us to the zone of super-consciousness. Only by surrendering to the depths of our terror do we transcend the threat of our mortality . Then we discover our ability to radiate enlightenment. -

What is missing in Hinduism?
by LifeBlissFoundation 2,583 views
TALKS FROM MORNING SATSANG ON SEPTEMBER 9, 2012 IN KODAIKANAL, INDIA
In today's morning satsang, Paramahamsa Nithyananda (Swamiji) addresses Hinduism's need to return to its original spirituality. The fundamental practice of Upanishad, in which devotees sit in the presence of a Master and integrate the principles of meditation, is no longer transmitted as a central religious element among Hindus. Ideally, children learn this practice from their parents at an early age and carry the reverence they acquire into adulthood. Nithyananda points out that while non-Hindus are often forbidden to worship in Hindu temples, Hindus themselves may not be worshipping with the right spiritual understanding. He recommends that Hindus return to the Vedic roots of their spirituality. -

In today's talk on Bhagavad Gita, chapter 6, verse 10, Paramahamsa Nithyananda (Swamiji) speaks on Upanishad. This beautiful practice of sitting with the Master is the cornerstone of Vedic spirituality. NIthyananda gives a meditation technique to experience its essence. When we sit to meditate, our thoughts are often cluttered with distractions. Nithyananda advises us to sit with intentional focus on our distractions so that we purify them. On the first day we sit with our worries; on the second we eat until we are completely full, and then sleep deeply. By the third day we've exhausted our interferences and can begin to drop into the sweet silence of Upanishad.

Humans have potential to create three kinds of lifestyle, depending on their level of awareness. When collective unconscious has control over society, it evolves a lifestyle based on power and ruled by fear.

When we are attached to our identity, we judge the world through the lens of our beliefs and prejudices. We create imaginary wars with people around us, thinking we know how they feel about us.
Nithyananda gives us a technique to shed these fantasy relationships. Approach someone we think of as an enemy and sit quietly with them, asking them to share their honest feelings about us. Repeat this with someone we think of as a friend. We will learn the spiritual skill of impartiality: of treating both friends and enemies with equal respect and compassion. -

Make Miracles Happen In Your Life

Talks from Morning Satsang on (25th july 2012) in Thiruvannamalai Aashram, India
In today's talk on Bhagavad Gita, Chapter 5, Verse 19, Paramahamsa Nithyananda (Swamiji) explains the source of extraordinary powers. When we establish ourselves in the Supreme consciousness, in the state of living enlightenment, we can surpass the laws of nature. This is not actually miraculous, it is simply fact. If we embody the divine spirit, we acquire divine abilities. Our lives become a reflection of God.
"Here - in this world itself, the nature is surpassed by them whose intelligence remains impartial. For the Supreme being that is flawless is the same in all, therefore they remain established in the Supreme."
Krishna is too much. What he says you know if you are established in the enlightened space, in the intelligence, even now all the rules & laws of nature is changed. I have something very important to prove this from my experience. But I cannot reveal that now. I will wait for some time and reveal it. If you are established in the supreme consciousness, all the laws of the nature is surpassed and I tell you where ever you surpass the laws of the nature that is what others claim as miracle. But for you it is the happening. The happening which is the happening for unconscious fellow is crime for society. Which is the happening for conscious fellow is flow of nature for society, the happening which is happening for the super conscious is miracle for society. the happening for unconscious fellow is crime for society. An unconscious fellow does not plan and do the murder.
Just yesterday Krishanamoorthy he gave me a news that few days before a murder happened in Tiruvannamalai. He gave me thorough information on who killed how he killed. ...I asked him why did he kill that guy. He said these fellows killed some other person and this fellow is an eye witness...to escape from conviction they killed another person. Now it is double murder. So the person who killed two people is not done it consciously. He is done in unconsciousness. He does not understand the whole thing. So just the happening for unconscious for society is crime. If you ask the person why did you do it that person will tell I thought if this person is alive and come to court and that may lead to conviction. Ok that is true. Now what have you done? You have done double murder. So conviction will be for two. An unconscious person does not think through. So whatever is happening for him is crime for society. For conscious person like he goes to work, goes for lunch, again works, comes back and sleeps whatever is the course of the happening for him is the flow and part of society. If you ask him why are you doing this? He says that is the way it is. Common understanding. If you are a girl the moment you are 25 you get married, if you are a boy the moment you are 27 you get married. Of course this is city limit. In villages it is much less. These are all common accepted understandings. Just yesterday one media person was asking me. The conscious fellow's the happening is the flow of society. But the super conscious the happening is miracle for society.
When thousands of miracles are happening around me, I promise you I don't do anything. It is the happening for me. People come and tell me I did not have kids for 20 years, I asked for your blessings in one year it has happened. I am so happy. When I see that surprise I think you fellow you did not have trust. Because in Kalpataru when I say that it is the happening for me. But these fellows think if they are surprised I am happy. I don't take things for granted, but I enjoy the gratitude in you when you come and report to me. The gratitude part in you I enjoy but the surprise part I don't enjoy. See when there is a gratitude part I enjoy. But if there is a surprise component I will just turn my face and walk to the next person. When I see gratitude I feel very happy. I don't take myself for granted. But if there is a surprise part then you did not comprehend or have trust. That is ok. All I wanted you to understand just the happening ordinary happening for me becomes miracle for you because of the consciousness established in the super consciousness because it remains in the super conscious highest intelligence, supreme beings are celebrated as the happening. -

In today's talk on Bhagavad Gita, Chapter 5, Verse 18, Paramahamsa Nithyananda (Swamiji) expands our perceptions of good and evil. All of us have preferences in life; we like some things and we dislike others. We judge what we enjoy as "good" and we label what displeases us as "evil". This is a myth: nothing is intrinsically "good" or "evil". When we relinquish our inner separation and accept all of creation as equal, we too are completely accepted and become integrated into divine Oneness. -

In today's morning satsang, Paramahamsa Nithyananda (Swamiji) answers a question regarding religious conversion. Paramahamsa declares that conversion is actually intentional, applied violence. When a person encounters a spiritual truth through direct experience, his inner space evolves and undergoes transformation. At that point he may choose to adopt the formal religion associated with the truth he has discovered and embrace it as a devotional practice. This is the only legitimate form of conversion. All other avenues -- outside pressure or bribery (feeding the poor in order to convert them) - are simply a veil for aggression. -

Attachment to Reward is Psychological Slavery
by LifeBlissFoundation 2,078 views
In (29th june 2012) morning's talk on Bhagavad Gita, Chapter 5, Verse 12, Paramahamsa Nithyananda (Swamiji) takes up the deepest level of the subject of attachment. The last attachment we drop is the subtle clinging to being rewarded for our performance. When we implement our intense action for the purpose of receiving reward, we enslave ourselves to the source of the reward. We tailor our performance to please those who will reward us. Our actions do not spring from inner freedom. We are ruled by the greed for admiration and the fear of criticism ; we work not for the purpose itself, but for the compensation we hope to gain. Paramahamsa instructs us to surrender this attachment. Relinquishing our slavery grants a far greater reward: the spiritual spaciousness of inner peace.

But if our devotion rises to the point where the guru feels in his heart that he can trust us and rely on us, we enter the dimension of friendliness. Our interactions with the guru radiate both affection and honest surrender. This is the relationship Arjuna has evolved into with Sri Krishna.

You are beyond joy and suffering
by LifeBlissFoundation 1,909 views
In (2nd july 2012) morning's talk on Bhagavad Gita, Chapter 5, Verse 15, Paramahamsa Nithyananda (Swamiji) expounds on the nature of the essential Self. Our inner space neither disturbs those around it, nor is it disrupted by surrounding events. It experiences neither suffering nor joy. If we regard this statement from the perspective of our past encounters we are convinced it is false, for each of us believes that we remember incidents of pain or delight. The part of us that has these feelings of agony and pleasure, however, is not our true essence. It is only the reflection of our essence -- our intelligence or manas, that perceives these sensations. When we understand that our inner space is pure, beyond any emotion, we can begin to live completely, in conscious clarity.

When we engage in intense action, which silences the mind and stimulates the body, we are purified of our negative beliefs and memories. Many of us fear that our willingness to be intensely active causes us to be taken advantage of. If we agree to work, we may be exploited. But Bhagawan Sri Krishna has no need to take advantage of anyone. Paramahamsa reassures us that Krishna's instruction to commit ourselves to intense action is for our benefit. The action purifies us and sets us free from fear and laziness. Having passed over these great hurdles, we approach the state of living enlightenment.

In this morning's talk on Bhagavad Gita, Chapter 5, Verse 5, Paramahamsa Nithyananda (Swamiji) encourages us to explore our possibilities. The two extremes of self-exploration are motionless meditation and intense action. Both lead us to the same state of spiritual freedom. Self-exploration through contemplation is jnana samyama, enlightenment through wisdom; self-exploration through action is karma samyama, enlightenment through industriousness.
Exploring one's physical possibilities is yoga, bodily expression of the divine; emotional exploration leads to bhakti, the feeling connection with God; mental exploration results in siddhi, super-conscious ability; and spiritual exploration gives us mukti -- enlightenment. All these possibilities are available to each of us: we have only to choose our route. The destination is eternally the same. -

In today's talk on Bhagavad Gita, Chapter 4, Verse 24, Paramahamsa Nithyananda (Swamji) presents the most repeated verse of the entire Gita. This verse is recited in in every Hindu monastery and by every saddhu before taking any food or water. The sacred secret hidden within it is that what we eat, drink and breathe is cosmos, the mouth we eat and breathe through is cosmos, how we digest the cosmos is also cosmos, and what we return from our inner cosmos into the outer cosmos is -- cosmos as well! We do not own any part of the cycle. Food or air, mouth, digestion, exhalation -- everything is simply cosmos. Paramahamsa informs us that meditation on this technique can lead to instant enlightenment. -

Power is Knowning Your Life purpose Bhagavad Gita by Nithyananda

Bhagavad Gita (Song of God) is a timeless treatise on the essence of living enlightenment. The Gita was imparted by the enlightened Hindu incarnation Sri Krishna to the warrior-prince Arjuna over 5000 years ago. Amazingly, the spiritual wisdom and life solutions offered in the Gita are so universal and current that it is even today used as a personal transformation guide
In today's talk on Bhagavad Gita, Chap 2 Verse 64, Paramahamsa Nithyananda provides some key definitions for frequently misunderstood concepts. He re-defines power and selfishness in ways that we can use for our spiritual evolution. According to his description, we are powerful when we understand our life purpose and align all our desires with it. Power gives us clarity to center ourselves. We encounter selfishness when we are unclear about our purpose and entangle others in our confusion. We demand attention and cause disruption and suffering for everyone. Paramahamsa offers us this gem of wisdom: When we surrender to our purpose, every day radiates hope because we know we are following our destiny. When we don't know our purpose, every day is tortured by the depression of uncertainty and the sense that we are wasting precious time. -

In today's talk on Bhagavad Gita, Chapter 2, Verse 65, Paramahamsa Nithyananda explains the emotional climate of enlightenment. He counsels us that we may continue to experience occasional depression and pain. The key difference is that we achieve rapid victory over these moments and return swiftly to our center. From that core of liberation, we radiate bliss as our "default setting". Sri Krishna's authority reassures us that all suffering is temporary, and we can abbreviate our encounters with it when we surrender to the wisdom of stability. We create the space of living enlightenment: jeevan mukti. -

In today's talk on Bhagavad Gita, Chap 2, Verse 59, Paramahamsa Nithyananda explains the dynamics of desire. As we tread our spiritual path to transformation, we may be tempted to turn back to the attractions of the life we left behind. Paramahamsa reveals that even Buddha experienced this impulse. Until our actual evolution into enlightenment, the pull of the past remains. When we become aware that our old patterns still call out to us, we can hold to our goal with clarity. Compassionately Paramahamsa reassures us that remembering our old ways does not interfere with our journey. It is only when we actually turn back that we lose ground. -

In today's talk on Bhagavad Gita, Chap 2, Verses 53 & 54, Paramahamsa Nithyananda identifies what he terms the "last problem between guru and disciple". Arjuna has spent his entire life close to Krishna. Because of this he has lost the understanding that Krishna is an enlightened being. When disciples live close to their guru, their daily experience of well-being has potential to blind their spiritual clarity. They may lose their awareness of the dimensions beyond mortality that their guru embodies. With compassion Krishna prepares his reply, aiming to transform Arjuna's perspective. Krishna represents the evolution of human possibility, the divine in human form. -

In today's talk on Bhagavad Gita, Chap 2, Verse 57, Paramahamsa Nithyananda explains the difference between definition and practical instruction. Definition describes the state we aim for, which spontaneously unfolds once we have transformed our consciousness. The practical instruction to achieve this clarity is to understand our inner identity. Human beings form the link between animal and God: we are evolving from the lower to the higher levels of experience. We can spotlight the higher moments in ourselves and nourish them to make them strong, while composting the lower vibrations of violence and greed. As we raise our spiritual frequency, wisdom and compassion naturally flower in our lives. -

In this talk on Bhagavad Gita, Chap 2, Verse 56, Paramahamsa Nithyananda continues to share insights into Sri Krishna's wisdom. Verse 56 encourages us to free ourselves from passion and anger. However, Paramahamsa points out with understanding and compassion that there is no short road to this transformation. We cannot evolve beyond slavery to our emotions through direct struggle with them. To achieve spiritual balance we must engage our experiences by raising our consciousness to a higher level. We can use a technique or method learned from a master, or we can inspire ourselves by thinking, "How would my master behave in my situation?" This gives us an enlightened spectrum from which to act. Our actions will reflect the clarity of that spectrum. -

In today's talk on Bhagavad Gita, Chap 2, 51st Verse, Paramahamsa Nithyananda unveils the compassionate pinnacle of Sri Krishna's wisdom. All previous teachings direct us to this: the shackles of perpetual birth and death. Many of us do not understand why we should work for freedom from the repeating wheel. Paramahamsa describes the clarity of spiritual liberation by comparing it to life after leaving a tiny village for wider horizons. Our perspective transforms; we develop the awareness that small items we looked to for well-being in the village, no longer have any importance for us. Just so, when we evolve to the experience of our immortality, we can see how small and unimportant our temporary lives truly are.

In this talk on Bhagavad Gita, Chap 2, Verse 58, Paramahamsa Nithyananda shares his personal experience with Sri Krishna's message. The verse instructs us that when we withdraw our senses from outward stimuli in the same way that a tortoise withdraws into its shell, our spiritual understanding becomes steady. Paramahamsa recalls grasping this concept strongly upon first seeing a tortoise in action as a boy. He comments that the clarity of Sri Krishna's image is so sharp it needs no embellishment. When we transform our awareness and focus on our inner space, we discover that the source of all joy lies within ourselves. We accept our evolutionary destiny: to end our dependence on external events. This does not mean we don't interact or enjoy the outer world, but it no longer disturbs our stability -

In today's talk on Bhagavad Gita, Chap 2, Verse 61, Paramahamsa Nithyananda discusses the sublime authority with which Sri Krishna speaks. Continuing yesterday's instruction that our spiritual master stabilizes our aspirations, Sri Krishna exhorts Arjuna to "sit steadfast, intent on Me". Here Krishna reveals himself as the ultimate source of compassion, with whose help we can transform our consciousness. In the turbulence of our behavior patterns, the guidance of our teacher/master/guru provides welcome clarity. When our understanding fails and our experiences overwhelm us, we can remain connected by forging an emotional link. That feeling connection supports us to "sit steadfast" at all times. -

In today's talk on Bhagavad Gita, Chap 2, Verse 50, Paramahamsa Nithyananda delivers the inspiring sacred secret of Verse 50: "yoga is perfection in action". This is the core of Sri Krishna's immortal wisdom. When we act out of love for our work, the joy of working is its own reward. Our joy then creates the clarity of perfection. This awareness transforms our understanding, showing us that purpose -- outcome -- is not the point of what we do. Laziness springs from discomfort in working. When we are in love with our work, we experience well-being, both physical and spiritual. So out of compassion for ourselves, we should evolve into "perfection in action". We will have more pleasure in life, and free ourselves from laziness. -

In today's talk on Bhagavad Gita, Paramahamsa Nithyananda takes time to share some jewels of insight from his personal journey to enlightenment. He explains that when we receive a "click" of understanding with our external guru -- the body sitting before us -- it will only change our life if we take it inside of us, to our internal guru. This decision will create continuing clicks, leading us to a clearer attitude. Paramahamsa enjoins us to record all our experiences in a "Book of the Heart" -- whether actual book, cyber file or phone storage. He himself kept such a treasured journal. Reading over these records at moments of suffering, joy and grief can show us our inevitable progress to the blissful reality beyond death -

When we look inside ourselves and understand what we have, we evolve to the clarity of unconditional compassion. Right now our relationships are contracts based on expectation. If we relinquish the experience of projecting our desires onto those around us, we amplify both their well-being and our own. In today's talk on Bhagavad Gita, Chap 2, Verse 49, Paramahamsa Nithyananda speaks on the transformation of our motivations. When we motivate ourselves through greed and fear -- reward and punishment -- we create a spiritual experience of Hell. As we evolve to the next level, the level of sacrifice, we launch a social core of compassion that eventually shifts the world consciousness. The sacred secret of Verse 49 is "surrender yourself to wisdom". When we act from the clarity of understanding that our well-being does not depend on the results of our actions, we free ourselves from the prison of expectation and transcend our mortal perspective. -

In today's talk on Bhagavad Gita, Chap 2 Verses 44-45, Paramahamsa Nithyananda expands on Krishna's teachings about Action versus Being. Krishna shows Arjuna how an attitude of inevitable attachment to rituals and rules -- Action without Being -- actually leads us away from enlightenment. Moving the body in repetitive ways that don't change our Being causes suffering. The proper purpose of Action is to transform our life. Krishna then introduces the three Ways of Being -- sluggishness, restlessness and balance. The first two lead only to grief. He instructs Arjuna to take the decision to abide in balance, and then "go beyond" death itself to reach the enlightenment zone. -

In this talk on Bhagavad Gita Chapter 2 Verse 38, Paramahamsa Nithyananda reveals the sacred secret hidden in Sri Krishna's words. Our usual attitude toward life is that body and mind take priority over our immortal spirit. We cherish the small comforts and complaints of our temporary selves above the huge awareness that we are only tiny, momentary ants in the vastness of the cosmos. We attach to our inevitable griefs and petty pleasures as if they are eternal. When we decide to change our perspective, we realize that our true selves continue beyond death, and we free ourselves from suffering. -

In today's talk on Bhagavad Gita Chapter 2 Verses 36 & 37, Paramahamsa Nithyananda continues the thread of Krishna's play upon the engrams of Arjuna. Arjuna's attitude of concern for public opinion has the power to change even his grief for the potential death of his loved ones. Krishna is no longer speaking of immortality; he is addressing the consequences of Arjuna's decision in this body, this life, and the inevitable suffering he will undergo. Paramahamsa explains that while the higher eternal Truths are available to all, this practical interpretation for use in daily life is especially precious, and can only be received from an enlightened living master. -

In today's talk on Bhagavad Gita Chapter 2, Verse 35, Paramahamsa Nithyananda expands his discussion on the use of engrams by Sri Krishna. Krishna's attitude is that of a puppeteer; Arjuna has become the puppet, and the strings that change his position are his engraved memories. Krishna maneuvers Arjuna toward the inevitable decision to fight by tugging on the strings of jealousy and pride. He understands how Arjuna suffers from competition with his chief enemies, and how he will grieve if he is publicly shamed. To Arjuna, life under such circumstances would be worthless. Better to seek a glorious death and prove to his competitors that he is the bravest warrior of all. -

In this talk on Chapter 2, 34th verse of Bhagavad Gita, Paramahamsa Nithyananda describes how Sri Krishna plays upon Arjuna's engram of social conditioning. Krishna shows Arjuna how his life is caught in the engram of suffering over the possible death of his reputation. At the same time Krishna uses that fear, that Arjuna will grieve for his choice not to fight, to change Arjuna's attitude and persuade him to start the war. Paramahamsa reveals that the worst decisions are made out of concern for the opinion of others. The first step in yoga of verbalization is control not only of what we speak, but of how we inevitably react to the speech of those around us. -

.In today's talk on Bhagavad Gita Chapter 2 Verse 30, Paramahamsa Nithyananda explains the concept of Swadharma. Swadharma is the conscious design of the cosmos, where everything flows properly without any gap. We create grief and suffering when we believe there are gaps in this flow. We can change our experience if we take the attitude that the universe is always flowing properly, and align our lives in harmony with cosmic intelligence. This should be a conscious decision. Stumbling along an inevitable path as if we have no choice creates an experience of Death while still in our bodies. It kills the heart and decreases our effectiveness in life. -

In today's talk on Bhagavad Gita, Chapter 2 Verses 29-30, Paramahamsa Nithyananda explains the greatest wisdom of the Vedic tradition, the Science of Soul. The soul compares with our individual lives as the ocean compares with a village well. Human bio-memory, coded within the body, experiences only two signals: those of Love and Fear. When we take the decision to de-code emotions such as grief down to these two signals, our attitude changes and we no longer receive the Fear signal, even fear of Death. As we explore this Nithya Twa, Science of Eternity, we dissolve our suffering into the ocean of the soul. -

The Gita was imparted by the enlightened Hindu incarnation Sri Krishna to the warrior-prince Arjuna over 5000 years ago. Amazingly, the spiritual wisdom and life solutions offered in the Gita are so universal and current that it is even today used as a personal transformation guide in universities and management schools worldwide.
In this talk on Bhagavad Gita Chapter 2, 33rd verse, Paramahamsa Nithyananda illustrates the progression of Sri Krishna's instruction to Arjuna. The opening verses of Sri Krishna's teachings are addressed at the level of consciousness. He discusses the inevitability of Death, the impermanence of body, and the pointlessness of grieving over mortality. Krishna then steps down to the level of bio-memory, of our life patterns. Arjuna should fight because it is his calling, his swadharma. In Verse 33, Krishna now changes his tone further, stepping down to the level of social conditioning. If Arjuna sustains his decision to suffer over fighting, his reputation will be tarnished and his attitude will incur disrespect. From a dharmic perspective, this is sin. -

In today's talk on Bhagavad Gita (Chapter 2, Verses 26 -27), Paramahamsa Nithyananda spoke on the inevitable nature of Change, and the foolishness of suffering whenever change happens in our lives. We are perfectly aware that Death is certain for anyone who is born, so why do we grieve over the inevitable? Death and birth are simple facts, and it is our decision whether to live with it or suffer with it. When we live life with an attitude of giving away everything freely, even leaving the body at the moment of death will be easy for us. -

In today's talk on Bhagavad Gita, Chap 2 Verse 25, Paramahamsa Nithyananda identifies the highlight of Krishna's discussion of Death : "Do not grieve." Paramahamsa points out that in the vast experience of the cosmos, Planet Earth is only a small village. Our sorrows seem huge to us only because we are not seeing them from the perspective of the true Self. We actually choose to suffer or decline suffering. When we act from our living spirit, and comprehend our Immortality, we make the enlightened choice not to suffer. -

Amazingly, the spiritual wisdom and life solutions offered in the Gita are so universal and current that it is even today used as a personal transformation guide in universities and management schools worldwide.
In this talk on Bhagavad Gita Chapter 2, Verse 21, Paramahamsa Nithyananda unfolds another dimension of Immortality. Krishna initiates Arjuna into the most sacred wisdom, by sharing the secret that something that is inherently indestructible cannot be destroyed by any means, no matter how it appears to our eyes. Thus, when Arjuna slays a body in war, the living spirit within is not touched by Death. Nithyananda explains that this initiation into higher knowledge purifies our actions, allowing us to act causelessly, without ambition or attachment to the result. He compares the actions of a person whose heart is filled with Truth to a burned rope. It looks like a rope, but it is actually made only of ash. Like the burnt rope, the actions of such a person can neither bind him, nor be used to bind anything to him. -

In this talk on Bhagavad Gita (Chapter 2, Verse 20), Paramahamsa Nithyananda points out that all the joy and sorrow of this drama we call Life is nothing but our own playful choice! If we can just remember this, Life can be a beautiful, colorful experience. We can play with love, play with fighting, we can dabble in life casually. But instead, we identify ourselves with this perishable body and identity, experiencing fleeting pleasures and every day facing the terrifying prospect of Death. Forgetting that we are only playing, and that our living spirit continues beyond these passing events into Immortality, we create needless suffering for ourselves. -

Paramahamsa reminds us that when we have an emotional trust in our instructors, we will feel that their teaching have benefit for us. Arjuna's trust in Krishna allows Krishna to deliver the truth of Death, pointing out the inevitable transience of the body. Arjuna is still suffering from his decision to grieve for the lives of his enemies, instead of perceiving that their essence is immortal.

Science to Decode Pain and Pleasure Bhagavad Gita by Nithyananda

In this talk on Bhagavad Gita Chapter 2, Verses 14 and 15, Paramahamsa Nithyananda reveals the formula for healing from samskaras (engraved mental patterns), as spoken by the enlightened master Krishna to the warrior prince Arjuna. Krishna reminds Arjuna that both pain and pleasure are temporary experiences, and surrendering to them diverts us from the truth of our potential being. This is not to say that we should suppress our body-mind sensations; rather, we need to approach them with a complete understanding of their impermanence. Once we awaken our intelligence and understand the nature of our attachments, they cease to grip us. This inner transformation blesses us with the basis for enlightenment.

Amazingly, the spiritual wisdom and life solutions offered in the Gita are so universal and current that it is even today used as a personal transformation guide in universities and management schools worldwide.
In this talk on (Bhagavad Gita, Chapter 2, Verse 8) Paramahamsa Nithyananda elaborates on 'Unnecessary Suffering'. The warrior-prince Arjuna's surrender to the enlightened master Krishna is opening the doors to his inner transformation. Breaking free of the grip of his convoluted logic, he rightly realizes that the deep suffering he experiences cannot be healed even if he conquers the entire universe in battle. In truth, all of one's suffering is nothing but the inner struggle to break free of the limitations of body-mind and express one's infinite potential. Attributing one's pain to any other cause is pure delusion, and leads to needless desperation. Awakening to this truth opens one to the 'right' suffering -- the thirst for enlightenment. -

While fondly reminiscing his disciple hood experiences with Arunagiri Yogeeshwara, (revered as an incarnation of Shiva, an enlightened master from Tiruvannamalai), he elaborated on the attitude of receptivity adapted by Arjuna.
'...Instruct me, who is your disciple by pronouncing that which may bring auspiciousness with it,' Arjuna says. These few words of Arjuna finally redeem him. He begins to see Krishna as his master. Due to this opening, Bhagavan begins to address the root of his problem, instead of giving him socially acceptable answers. -

In today's verses Swami explains about Arjuna's logic.
Now Arjuna's depression is peaking and he is becoming near-suicidal. He is terrified at the prospect of losing the war and still being alive. He tells Krishna that he would rather beg for food than kill his teachers. He feels wealth attained thus is forever stained with blood and that he does not wish to live after slaying the sons of Dritarashtra. Caught in his hypocrisy and convoluted logic, Arjuna keeps repeating the same words again and again to Krishna. The depression that he empowered by constant verbalizing is now beginning to swallow him. But fortunately for Arjuna, he is with the right consultant, the Mahapurusha.
Like Arjuna, we are so lost in our convoluted logic, explains Swamiji. Caught in a deep illusion created by our logic, we try to find solutions for our hypothetical problems and in the process totally lose touch with life. The only anti-dote to this is to live in simple awareness. When in deep trouble, instead of mulling over the problem, we simply need to decide that we will be successful. -

Establish Yourself in Self-Remembrance
by LifeBlissFoundation 1,893 views
In (20th May 2012) talk on Bhagavad Gita, Chapter 4 Verse 30, Paramahamsa Nithyananda (Swamiji) emphasizes the clarity of Sri Krishna's teaching. Krishna does not leave any space for misinterpretation in his description of prana samyama, the practice of self-remembrance. If we do not achieve recollection of the self by offering all of our actions to the prana, we cannot even reap the rewards of ordinary life, never mind advancing spiritually! This practice is so fundamental to living a fruitful existence that without it we cannot even call ourselves alive. Once we establish ourselves in self-remembrance, everything awakens within us and life becomes juicy and vibrant.

by LifeBlissFoundation 2,775 views
In 19th May 2012 talk on Bhagavad Gita, Chapter 4 Verse 30, Paramahamsa Nithyananda (Swamiji) continues his instruction on self-remembrance. When we offer all our actions to prana -- to the ability to recall what we are --we gain immense benefit even from very small effort. At first we may find it difficult to maintain this conscious recollection and still engage in the activities of daily life, but with repetition we can strengthen our skills and ultimately we are successful. Keeping a journal of each activity -- driving to work, taking a meeting -- allows us to gauge our progress. During the twenty minute drive, did we remember the self for each of those twenty minutes? By tracking our focus throughout the day, we polish and perfect our practice.

Empower your Self-Remembrance ( Prana Samyama )
by LifeBlissFoundation 6,591 views
In ( 18th May 2012 ) Morning Satsang talk on Bhagavad Gita, Chapter 4 Verse 29, Paramahamsa Nithyananda (Swamiji) defines prana. Usually interpreted as "life-giving force", Paramahamsa spins a deeper mystical meaning by asserting that it means "the moments when we remember that we exist" -- when we are aware and have consciousness of our existence. The opposite of prana, apana, he defines as "forgetfulness that we exist". Prana can absorb apana and can ultimately dissolve maya, the delusions of existence, which cannot prevail in the presence of full awareness. The technique to increase our self-remembrance is a threefold practice: ajapa japa, the soundless chanting of mantra; mahabhaava, maintaining an overflowing feeling connection to the divine; and sahaja samadhi, the technique of unclutching.

A Clean Stomach Is Enough For Enlightenment!
by LifeBlissFoundation 2,529 views
In 25th May 2012 talk on Bhagavad Gita, Chapter 4 Verse 35, Paramahamsa Nithyananda (Swamiji) supplies a deeper definition for the term "clean stomach". Sri Krishna is not only talking about the physical stomach as is often translated. He actually refers to our hormonal space, to the status of our hormonal equilibrium. When we repeat the experience of internal chemical balance again and again, we create the alchemical shift to a physical state which embraces divine consciousness. This cleansing of our bio-memories -- establishing a "clean stomach" -- raises us into the zone of enlightenment.

To experience their knowledge we must drop into a mode of receiving, of submission. This attitude of surrender raises us to the zone of divine consciousness as we connect deeply with all of life and merge our awareness with the whole universe.

Courageous Trust Can Conquer All Obstacles
by LifeBlissFoundation 4,042 views
In (29th May 2012) morning's talk on Bhagavad Gita, Chapter 4 Verse 39, Paramahamsa Nithyananda (Swamiji) inspires us to invoke the power of shraddha in our spiritual practice. Shraddha is usually translated as "faith". Paramahamsa extends this definition to embrace "courage": the fortitude required to endure the pressures that push us into enlightenment. When we yearn for the enlightened state we feel a suffocation, a constraint that our present awareness is too small and too confined. With shraddha we can permit that suffocation to work on us, to burst us open like a seed sprouting into a tree. Paramahamsa gives us a technique to relieve the pressure: share our knowledge with others. This allows us to expand our boundary and release the sense of suffocation.

Inaction in Action Is Enlightenment
by LifeBlissFoundation 1,056 views
In (1st June 2012) this morning's talk on Bhagavad Gita, Chapter 4 Verse 41, Paramahamsa Nithyananda (Swamiji) is clarifying the practice of intense action. Intense action takes place when there is no diversion of our energy, when we are not attached to or distracted by other thoughts. When we exist in a sustained mood of unclutching, all our actions are intense and effective. Paramahamsa gives a technique to strengthen our unclutching: begin with a short time of simple unclutched mood, just sitting quietly. Then gradually add some physical actions while maintaining the mood: yogasanas are the perfect choice. Yoga is the essence of unclutched action. As we gain skill and confidence, we can carry our unclutched state into our daily activities. This is intense inaction in action -- living enlightenment.

Paramahamsa gives a strong technique to ascertain that we do not stop short of the ultimate experience possible in life. When we set goals for ourselves, we may cease to expand once they are achieved. If instead we invite the Divine to forever move us onward toward the ultimate, we will never settle down complacently before we have fulfilled our possibility. When we sit in meditation our prayer should be, "Let me not be contented before the ultimate experience is showered upon me."

In (2nd June 2012) morning's talk on Bhagavad Gita, Chapter 4 Verse 42, Paramahamsa Nithyananda (Swamiji) reveals the path to resolving confusion in our life. At moments when we are surrounded by chaos, or when we are unsure of what to do, we should immediately commit ourselves to intense action. When we initiate our creativity our consciousness spontaneously expands. Hard work raises us to keener awareness and carves us into leadership. If we find ourselves in the midst of adverse circumstances we should increase the intensity of our commitment. Ultimately we discover that we can accomplish more than we thought possible. We extend our capacity for efficiency and achievement.

In today's talk on Bhagavad Gita, chapter 6, verse 7, Paramahamsa Nithyananda
(Swamiji) gives us a deep technique for establishing our supremacy of self. Whether we are disturbed by external situations or internal emotions, they can only distract us if we agree to be distracted. When we sit in meditation with awareness and examine the source of the disturbance: how it feels, how it affects us, what is actually happening in our attention, we separate our spiritual consciousness from the experience and it no longer influences us.

Awakening the World Tour 2012 - Interview with Yoga Management Magazine
by LifeBlissFoundation 534 views
In an interview with the German publication Yoga Management Magazine, Paramahamsa Nithyananda answers questions about his upcoming World Tour, November 2012 through January 2013. Awakening the World involves awakening our own inner potential energy so that we make a spontaneous leap into super-consciousness. He explains the natural phenomenon that has occurred, as the gravitational field of the Earth is gradually being reduced. This is not a disaster as many fear; rather it is an opportunity to become lighter in being. The reduced gravity affects mainly our thoughts: we have the potential to become more light-hearted and creative.

How Bidadi Got Its Name?
by LifeBlissFoundation 336 views
TALKS FROM MORNING SATSANG ON SEPTEMBER 10, 2012 IN KODAIKANAL, INDIA
In today's satsang, Paramahamsa Nithyananda explains the origin of the name Bidadi. Bidadi is the village next to Nithyananda's main ashram, near the South Indian city of Bangalore.
When the maharajas (kings) of Mysore (about 4 hours' travel by car from Bangalore) decided to establish a royal seat in Bangalore, they camped in the area where Bidadi lies now while their palace was constructed. Bidadi means "camp" or "temporary lodging".
Nithyananda extends the metaphor of living in a "temporary lodging" to our entire life on Earth. We are just visitors here, borrowing a human body for a few decades. When remember that perspective, we grow more light-hearted and take our circumstances less seriously. -

Master, Mind & Mystic Phenomena

TALKS FROM MORNING SATSANG ON AUGUST 24 2012 IN KODAIKANAL, INDIA
In today's morning satsang, Paramahamsa Nithyananda (Swamiji) answers questions. The first question asks about explanation of a mysterious spiritual event, when a cobra was observed in a temple performing archana (worship offering) to the Shivalinga. The phenomenon was observed by hundreds and clear photos were taken, for us to view during the satsang. Paramahamsa reminds us that at times high spiritual beings such as sages or saints may take an animal body for a time. This was clearly such an occasion.
The second question concerns how to attract the right people to us. Paramahamsa replies that there is no need to do special practices for this: our desire itself has enough strength to magnetize what we wish for and bring it to us.
Another devotee asks how she can convince her child to follow Swamiji. Paramahamsa tells us that as parents, we have the responsibility to make sure the child knows about him and has opportunity to follow. The decision to follow springs from the free will of the child. We cannot force the choice.
Paramahamsa's final comments are concerned with yoga and exercise. He enjoins us to practice yoga daily, at least one session in the morning. When the body gains yogic strength it automatically creates mental peace. We experience inner serenity and liberate ourselves from conflict. -

Going forward even during moments of doubt and depression is atma bhakti: devotion to our higher intelligence. We become our own guiding light, building our lives on spontaneous inspiration.

We should eat only when physically hungry and sleep only when the body is falling asleep; we should exercise our decisions based on our own observations, not those of others, and initiate stable relationships founded on affection, not imagination. In today's talk on Bhagavad Gita, chapter 6, verse 18, Paramahamsa Nithyananda (Swamiji) gives us a technique to identify our prarabdha karma. Prarabdha is the portion of our karma which we chose to balance during this lifetime. Nithyananda instructs us to meditate on the gap between each of our thoughts. Within that gap lies the emotion which generated the thought. When we identify the emotion, we can fulfill the karma associated with it. For example, if we long for some experience, is the longing generated by desire, fear, or the wish to help others? Understanding what motivates us makes it possible to act accordingly: renounce desire, transcend fear, or fulfill our wish to help humanity.

Nithyananda tells us that if we can transform our remembrance visualization to that of the master, we can rise to his level of consciousness also.
