Welcome to Quick and Simple Life Hacks 9! Here are several more tips to keep things simple and cheap.
1. Need to get some paint out of your clothes? Don't buy expensive chemicals, grab Olive Oil and scrub with a paper towel until the paint is gone.
2. Bananas losing their luster too soon? Save money next time by covering the top stem of the bunch with plastic wrap, they'll last you significantly longer.
3. It's warming up and ants the are invading. But you don't need need to buy harsh pesticides. Grab some corn meal from your pantry and sprinkle it around edges and crevices. The ants eat it but can't digest it which ends their reign of terror in a few days..
4. Want to jam some tunes from your phone but you don't have a speaker handy? Grab an empty toilet paper roll and cut a slit in it. Stick a couple tacks on both sides and you've just created an amplifier.
5. House smelling off and need to freshen it up? Don't worry about purchasing air fresheners and sprays. Just grab a few dryer sheets and pin them to the front of a fan. Ahhhh... spring fresh for pennies.
6. Did you clog up your drain and don't want to buy drano? No worries. Grab half a cup of baking soda and half a cup of vinegar. Toss it down the drain and let it sizzle a few minutes. Finally, rinse it all out with hot water and enjoy your clean pipes.

by HouseholdHacker 2,769,754 views
Quick and Simple Life Hacks -- Beer Edition. We will show you 6 ways to open a bottle just in case you lost your opener.
1. How to open a beer with a Counter Top - Place the seam of the cap along a hard edge that don't be damaged and give the bottle a hard tap right on top.
2. How to open a beer with a key - Take your car key and pop out 3 or 4 prongs in the cap twisting each time and then push up.
3. Open beer with another bottle - Flip another bottle upside down and connect the caps at the seam, leverage the upside bottle over your hand and open it.
4. Open beer with a dollar bill or paper - Take some currency and fold it over several times until its hard to bend. Then grab your bottle and place the bill under the lip of the cap. Using your knuckle as leverage pop that sucker off and make it rain.

LIFE HACKS -- 7 ways to open a Wine bottle without a corkscrew!
by HouseholdHacker 1,696,905 views
Wine. The nectar of the gods. But what if your corkscrew mysteriously goes missing? We've got some simple ways to solve that problem so that you can get your drink on.
1. Hit up your junk drawer and grab a screw hook. Apply it to the cork and get it snug. Now carefully and slowly wiggle out that cork and enjoy the fruit of your labor.
2. Hit that junk drawer again. Find a thick screw and twist it down into the wine stopper. When you are done grab pliers or clippers and twist that bad boy out. Voila.
3. This also can work with a large nail but you need to pound it in at a slight angle and then carefully remove the nail and cork with the back of a hammer. Take your time and you'll be fine.
4. Now you might have heard that banging a bottle against the wall will pop the cork, and you would be right. However, it takes far too long to be effective so don't bother with this trick just move on to something better such as...
5. The shoe string method. Want to really impress? Bore a hole in the cork and tye a big knot in a string. Shove that thing down there and then simply pull up hard on the rest of the string. Plipitty ploppy, time to get sloppy.
6. This one is my favorite. You just need a serrated knife. Take your blade and thrust it into the depths of the evil cork. Now slowly and carefully twist and pull. The cork will be out in moments, unless your bottle is wearing chain mail.
7. Finally, just to keep things fresh I will show you a new method that while not the easiest. Has some fun results. Grab a bike pump and shove the tube down a hole you bore in the cork. Give it some pressure and watch the cork rise. Once it is about halfway pull it with your hand and set it free.
