We also had Australian Beauty YouTuber Jess B (youtube.com/NekoAesthetic) who talked about meeting other people in online communities in real life (28:00) & YouTube Partnership Networks (38:00). We asked Brianna K what "Green Beauty" meant and she told us about some not very safe products 14:00. Around 19:00 many people talked about why they started YouTube and around 21:00 Ashley Ruiz talked about YouTube's Next Up Program. Around 27:00 we talked about dealing with negative feedback, 32:00 about how often to post, 38:00 if anyone's hit a creative wall, & finally around 40:00 how much one relies on planning vs. spontaneity. This week we were joined by a panel mostly of photographers that work with the theme of horror. We talked to J. Rae Chip, Liam Carleton (work @ 5:00), Amy DangRabbit (work @ 40:00), & Kelly-Shane Fuller about their work. We discussed the public perception of the genre (16:00), how women tend to be victims, and how zombies have become more mainstream and accepted (23:00). We also talked about some of the issues surrounding production of this kind of work (27:00). Nature & Landscape Photographer Don Komarechka also joined us and showed us some of his snowflake photos he's working on a book for. J. Tonight was the 1 year anniversary of the show and we were joined by Photographer & Writer M Monica who talked about her NBC interview involving Virtual Photo Walks™. We celebrated the 1 year anniversary of the show by sticking a candle into a peep and lighting it on fire. I mentioned the free ebook that I released today as a way to say thank you to the community for its support. I also brought up World Water Day next week on March 22nd where people are encouraged to take a picture of a person drinking dirty water out of a cup and upload it to G+ with the hashtag #worldwaterday2013 shining light on the issue of clean drinking water in the world and encouraging others to do the same. Tonight we were joined by musicians and people helping Google+ become a place where musicians can get noticed including John Voshell who runs Artists In The Plus that is the foremost promoter of independent musicians on G+. We also had on Musicians Melissa Bailey, James Olmos, Heather Fay, along with Deni Gauthier & Rob Michael (that jazz guy on the internet) who both played a couple of songs during the show (45:00). During the show we talked about how social media is helping musicians evade traditional media and labels (23:00) and how there's a trend in how people want to see something that's real rather than content that's been polished and packaged (17:00). We also discussed how musicians are trying to make a living through doing what they're passionate about. We were also joined by the CEO of CrushIQ Tim Moore and Photographer Jordan Oram. This week we had a Special Science Themed episode in honour of DeSTEMber that Google and Girlstart have been putting on this month. We had some great people on including Psychology Professor Dave Brodbeck who happens to be the first person I know of from real life to ever be featured on the show (out of 200+). He brought up his work with animal cognition and his studies involving black capped chickadees. We also talked with Molecular Biologist Buddhini Samarasinghe about the humorous naming of fruit flies. Astronomer and Researcher Scott Lewis also brought up a previous DeSTEMber hangout in which they were talking about the adventures of Erin Kane and her bot fly and kitten horror stories. We also talked about the conceptions people have about science and occupations in general. We also had Scientist and Engineer Chad Haney and Photographer Jordan Oram on the show. Here's the recording of the 35th episode of my weekly variety show That Show with Billy Wilson (TSBW) where I bring together some of the most interesting people you can find on G+ for a hangout! This week we had two great cooks on Amy Kritzer who's a great source for Jewish Home Cooking and showed us how to make Hanukkah Latkes including some history about Hanukkah and Terry Romero who talked about her books, when she became vegetarian and vegan, some of the regular things she uses, and she answered some questions viewers had. We learned that one of our guests who's a blogger Jessica Gottlieb used to be a vegan. Jessica Gottlieb also revealed a secret as to why all women should buy Preparation H in Canada. Some of our other guests tonight were Charles Hogge who is a producer for the Social Sports and Entertainment Show #SSEshow on G+ and Intellectual Property Trial Attorney Christa Laser. We also had a surprise appearance from Lisa Miller ! We ended the show hearing a few songs from our live musical guest Ed Yother ! During the show there were surprise appearances from Tibby and a story about how it was discovered he enjoys butter tarts!

Here's the recording of the 34th episode of my weekly variety show That Show with Billy Wilson (TSBW) where I bring together some of the most interesting people you can find on G+ for a hangout! This week's episode had a lot of photographers including Margaret Tompkins who's the curator for the landscape photography theme on G+, Thomas Hawk, and Mike Spinak who talked to us about his recently published book "Growing up Humming" and his next publication "Infinite Possibilities". We also had photographer Mark Rodriguez who showed us his Scavenger Hunt images and the behind the scenes for his tarred and feathured image. We also had a discussion about photography, art, and the amount of work in Photoshop it takes to create many things. Designer and Photographer Isabelle Fortin brought up Ladies of Movember she's involved with where women can participate in Movember. We also had Aaron Carrera who's the social media editor for SURFER Magazine and he talked about what brought him to G+ and print media versus digital media. We ended the show hearing Tibby purr a bit as our musical performance.

This week's show was a lot of fun and we had joining us Jesse Wojdylo who's a web entrepreneur. With him we talked about how G+ can overtake Facebook specifically pointing out how schools will be using G+. We also had Pamela Gay on the show who's an astronomer, writer and podcaster and she shared with us her experiences bringing her podcast Astronomy Cast to G+ with Fraser Cain. We also brought up Alexa Hart's show Atlas Sliced and we exchanged tips on how to expand an audience. We also got to hear a bit about Marilyn Ritter's bees! We then heard from James Olmos about his experiences playing on line and then he played a few live songs for us! During the show there were multiple surprise Tibby appearances.

We also had Amanda Blain who talked about the company she founded 3 years ago called Girlfriend Social, the world's largest social network for women with more than 65,000 users in 4 countries. During the show we discussed business plans, kickstarters, how entrepreneurs switch around a lot, and the different uses for Hangouts On Air. We had a great group of people including Photographer and community Builder Ron Clifford who talked to us about the portrait fundraiser he's doing, along with building communities, and the mentorship program. He also showed us some of his photos and a project he's working on called "Intersections at the Speed of Light". Also on the show was Bliss Morgan who talked about how she shaved off her hair in a Hangout On Air for cancer and raised more than $1,000. She also talked about her writing, the importance of a hook, G+ collaborations, and how she put together the book "Nightmare Fuel". It's amazing that I've finally did the 30th episode of the show! Thank you guys so much for your support! The beginning had some glitches up until 3:10 Here's the recording of the 30th episode of my weekly variety show That Show with Billy Wilson (TSBW) where I bring together some of the most interesting people you can find on G+! We had a great group of people including Ronnie Bincer who talked to us a bit about videos, Youtube, and G+. We also had Chris Yates who host the "Social Sports and Entertainment Show" on G+ and he talked about how G+ has opened up broadcasting to everyone and we discussed how Hangouts on Air is changing traditional media. Kimberley Blaine also talked a bit about the web series she does. We also got to hear from photographer Claire Grigaut who showed us some of her images and talked about her documentary work in Vietnam and we discussed the appeal behind black and white photography. Fraser Cain who's thee Astronomy guy of G+ also talked about the Hangouts on Air he does on G+ and how he's even cooperated with NASA in some of his shows. We ended the show hearing a few songs from Paul Platt. During the show there were multiple surprise Tibby appearances along with a white goose.

We had a great group of people including M Monica who is a lover of Tea and the person behind the Google+ Book Club. She talked about her new show called Family By The Fireside that she's hosting with Lisa Miller that talks about a healthy lifestyle. We also had DeAno Jackson on tonight who hosts Geeks of the Round. Sean Cowen also joined us and is the host of FRIDAY NIGHT SESSIONS that plays 80's music. We also talked to Sean Cowen about the Google+ book he's working on about the experiences of people on G+. Jessica Northey was also another host we had on who's been doing "Country Music Chat" for a while now and has been using G+ a lot now and hosts Twangout, a show that's part Twitter, part Hangout, and all Jessica. Suddenly M Monica brought up the Great Schism... We then talked to Caricature Artist Rodney Pike about his work and his inspirational story about how his caricatures are now making him a living and how G+ has played a part in that. During the show there were multiple surprise Tibby appearances!

During the show we talked to Shawna Coronado about Scotts Miracle Gro violation of federal pesticide laws that's costing them 12.5 million. We talked about the benefits of organically grown foods. We also talked to Sodacon about where he finds inspiration to do his work and his visual art that he's working on a degree for. Shawna Coronado shared her secret for growing a lovely garden. Here's the recording for the 20th episode of my weekly show! We had a great group of people including Jason Babler from MAKE Magazine; Caribbean chef Larry Fournillier; artist and illustrator Joel Poirier; photographers Vivienne Gucwa, John Kosmopoulos, and Eileen McAllister; and special musical guest Heather Fay !
During the show we talked about the new vanity URLs being rolled out for Google+. We also talked with Jason Babler for a bit about #MakerCamp and how it got started and how many awesome companies it has involved including NASA and the Ford Motor Company and that this is such a massive endeavor. Eileen McAllister brought up The Crohns Colitis Effect G+ page for Frank Garufi Jr.'s son who's 7 years old and has been battling Crohn's Colitis disease since he was born and how some photographers have donated images for auction. We then had Caribbean chef Larry Fournillier talk to us about spices and where they come from. We also had Joel Poirier show us a bit of his comics that he makes. We then ended the show with a couple of performances from Heather Fay, the last one featuring a surprise appearance of Heather Fay's son. During the episode there were numerous surprise Tibby appearances.

Here's the recording of the nineteenth episode of my weekly show! We had a great group of people including the awesome fashion photographer Laura Ferreira; photographer and blogger Lotus Carroll; the fun Lily L; Jordan Oram from his journey across Canada; Stormy Sweitzer who showed us a healthy lunch idea; and special musical guest MadCraft who joined us from Finland at 5:00am! We talked about how the black bars around photos on G+ are finally gone, Lotus Carroll's bathroom selfies, and Trey Ratcliff's new Lightroom presets. We also talked about what bloggers can do to help themselves on G+. We also talked about Laura Ferreira's experiences on G+ and looked at her awesome photography. We had Stormy Sweitzer show us some healthy food ideas and we ended the show having MadCraft play a few great songs! During the episode there were numerous surprise Tibby appearances.

Here's the recording of the seventeenth episode of my weekly show! This week I had a great group of people including photographers Jaime Ibarra, Jordan Oram, Dave Veffer, Jeffrey Sullivan, and Cameron Siguenza; Tressa Crozier; the always awesome Keith Barrett; along with special musical guest Laura Marie ! This episode we talked about initially feelings about the new Canon EOS M camera, Jeffrey Sullivan's photowalk, Jaime Ibarra's tutorial which is 1/3 off until tomorrow where he demonstrated some before and afters of his awesome work! Jaime Ibarra also talked about his condition called where he can hear colour, We also heard about Jordan Oram's adaptable approach to life, and we got to hear about the history of Keith Barrett live streaming on G+. Here's the recording of the sixteenth episode of my weekly show! This week I had a great group of people including photographers Gary Munroe, Jim Davis, and Jacob Lucas; artist Abigail Markov; Stephanie Van Pelt, Steph Bergy, and Pearl Lombardo; along with special musical guest LIZZY SPIT ! We talked about the new feature in hangouts where you can now specify your preferred language, the new Panoramio photo game you can play in hangouts, the recent satisfaction survey that showed that people were more satisfied with G+ than Facebook or Twitter. Jim Davis came to us live from a dock at night in Bancroft, Ontario, which prompted Gary Munroe to ask how the bugs were. We discussed how people are probably more satisfied with G+ because it can lead to deeper conversation and you can follow people based on interests rather than just friends or family. We also compared G+ to Facebook and brought up how Facebook doesn't allow all of your followers to see your posts in their feeds. At one point there was mention from +Peter Hollens of a Tom Anderson, but it didn't happen to be that +Tom Anderson, seems to be quite the common name. +Peter Hollens also revealed that there should be another upcoming video featuring +Lindsey Stirling in the next month. This episode we talked with a European group of guests about Google+. +Jaana Nyström brought up how G+ is still viewed too much like a ghost town and +Robert Redl indicated that Europeans were probably just late comers to G+. +Samantha Villenave brought up the wish that she could more easily find people who are on G+ in her area and +Dolidh Young brought up someone who likes to post pictures of socks in Scotland. We then had a sudden +Tibby moment that struck everyone in the hangout with awe. We then discussed where G+ would be in the future and it was brought up that more commercials and Google events could help increase interest in G+. +Jaana Nyström and +Samantha Villenave brought up hangouts that they have done to help people new to G+ and how the new Google Events function could help schedule help hangouts. +Dolidh Young also brought up the HIRL that's coming up in Scotland soon! Tonight we had a great time talking with +Mike Elgan and +Sarah Hill about their experiences with Google+ with +Mike Elgan's G+ diet and +Sarah Hill pioneering the use of G+ hangouts during newscasts. We talked about how G+ and hangouts in particular have helped so many people from around the world get together and the amazing power of G+. +Yifat Cohen brought up how to help newcomers to the network get into the G+ experience. +Sarah Hill brought up how hangouts during newscasts has given the ability to actually experience the responses first hand of the audience and even get feedback from them. We also talked about how hangouts "on air" has opened up doors to so many people because it gives you the ability to broadcast to the world. +Tzafrir Rehan also hopped in half way through the show. We ended the show with +Dale Goodridge playing three songs and had +Bradley Horowitz jump into the hangout from his car. We had a great time last night, we talked about the passing of MILOS JANATA, the new Project Glass from +Google, and talked with Thomas Hawk about the photos he had taken at an event with Robert Scoble of Sergey Brin apparently wearing the new glasses. We also discussed if licensing through Getty Images is really worth it and discussed the possibility of G+ doing something similar to the relationship between Flickr and Getty Images.
