According to Puro Instinct vocalist Piper Kaplan, &quot;We recently got back from a very wholesome North American tour with Ariel Pink&#39;s Haunted Graffiti and Magic Kids. No one got arrested and we made it to every show.&quot; Ahem. For your enjoyment Piper and her guitarist-sister Sklyar and the whole P.I. army recently stopped by Room 205 to perform a few spaced-out dream jams from that &quot;very wholesome&quot; tour.<br /><br />BIO<br />Founding Puro Instinct (formerly Pearl Harbor) members Piper and Skylar Kaplan began playing together in the summer of &#39;08 with no experience and no idea what they were getting themselves into. After a year or so, they put together a proper band (Dodi Porter, Jessie Clavin, Mike Baum, and Crazy Murray) to begin crafting their ethereal pop confections. Armed with a barrage of gorgeously intertwining guitar lines, vocals drenched in swooning reverb, and a subtle tsunami of dark synth melodies, Puro Instinct aim to release their debut full-length on Mexican Summer in Spring 2011.
