Skee Locker | Air Max 1 Edition: Milan, FB, & Premium

The Air Max 1 Milan, originally starting in Europe and then making its way to select retailers in the U.S., boasts a light brown suede body with a light pink accent for trim. The Milan logo is featured on the tongue and on the inside sole, making it a perfect fit for a casual occassion.
The Air Max 1 FB, for "football" (or soccer in the states), is inspired by the design of the sport's athletic footwear is sold only in Europe as of now. The fresh mint and black combination partially reflects in the light and the pink flash colorway make for a great color combination. The scaled Nike swoosh is inspired by Nike's cleat wear design, which has the scaled Nike swoosh.
The Air Max 1 Premium, while not being the most exclusive shoe (as it is available in the states), features a denim design with a turquiose-like trim and stay relatively true to size, unlike most Air Maxes that tend to run a bit smaller than advertised.

The 2013 Air Jordan V "Grape" release today, May 4th, 2013 with very similar comparisons to the 2006 version of this classic shoe.
The Air Jordan V "Grape" boasts a clean white body with a purple and emerald colorway decorating the tongue and soles of the shoe. With an emerald Jordan logo on the back and tongue, the 2013 version noticeably has a lighter shade of emerald and darker shade of purple than its 2006 counterpart. The stitching is also noticeably thinner and tongue is smaller on the 2013's. Lastly, the material underneath the toe changes from a mesh-like material in '06 to a leather strap in '13.

In this episode, sneaker enthusiast DJ Skee reviews some of his everyday wear sneakers including the Nike Huarache Light Free in two color ways, the Supra S1W, the Reebok DMX Run 10, and finally the Nike Air Max Griffey 360.
Nike Huarache Light Free edition -- Up first is the new Nike Huarache Light Free Edition. The sneaker is composed of a familiar Huarache upper in a classic OG color way of Black, Concord Blue, and with hints of Team Orange. Along the toe box and inner lining there is also a nice stand out Neon Turquoise. Infused with a white bottom sole found on Nike's Free Run models, the upper is made up of mesh material while a soft nubuck wraps along the toe box and sides of the running shoe. The classic Huarache logo stands out in Orange across the top of the tongue. Skee also shares an alternate color way of the Nike Huarache Light Free Edition in wolf grey, white and infrared.
Supra S1W Stevie Williams - Next up are the Supra S1W Stevie Williams that were released in a vibrant Neon Coral color way. The upper sports soft quality leather while just above a white cup sole the sneaker is composed of nice nylon material. Not to be forgotten, the shoe also comes with Supra's patented SUPRAFOAM which is sure to provide fans of the model with all the comfort needed.
Reebok DMX Run 10 -- Originally released in 1997, Reebok is back in the mix and has once again revived the classic DMX Run 10 style. The upper portion of the shoe is composed of a navy mesh that wraps around the shoe while the toe box and tongue remain white. For added detail, reflective piping also wraps around the upper while hints of Cherry are spotted along the Reebok outer sole branding, tongue, and inner netting. However, the classic runner's most popular feature has to be its Ice Blue sole that provides a quality cushioning system.
Nike Air max Griffey 360 -- Composed with the intent of a Hyperfuse style, the Nike Air Griffey Max 360 comes out swinging in a White, Black, and Freshwater color way. With Griffey Swingman logo across the outer heel in white, the sneaker comes equipped with nice technical features such as the Nike Air Max 360 technology bottom sole. The Nike+ enabled Max Air platform also sports nice added details ranging from its "Swingman" lettering along the back heel to its "24" across the upper tongue. The toe box also sports a nice white leather with a fairly decent sized Black Nike check for style points.

Kobe 8 System Easter
Originally set to be released with an inverted colorway, the Kobe 8 System Easter edition features a vibrant and unique gradient Easter-themed colorway with a teal Kobe logo on the tongue and purple Kobe logo on the heel. Speckles of green align the outer rubber sole along the sides and back of the shoe and the inside features a nice leather sole with the Kobe logo embossed.
Nike Air Foamposite One "White"
This shoe is self-explanatory: all white. The back of the heel features an outline of the Penny logo as well as the tongue and the sides of the shoe are adorned with a unique checkboard design to give the shoe its only non-white features. Very hard to keep clean but it is a great shoe to collect and very durable. -

In this episode, sneaker enthusiast DJ Skee unboxes and reviews a variety of this year's Kobe 8 sneakers and also showcases his one of a kind Kobe Zoom 4's signed by the entire Duke team.
Kobe - Nike Zoom Kobe 8 EXT
First up, DJ Skee takes a look at the Nike Zoom Kobe 8 EXT. This particular pair comes in a smooth upper University Red suede color way with Court Purple accents on the inside and the outer sole. The popular Kobe model has a nice lifestyle twist as its primary purpose is more concerned with style and appealing aesthetics rather than performance on the court. Celebrating the Chinese New Year theme of the year of the snake, the sneaker features hints of gold along the shoe's embroidered Nike swoosh, Shozoku tongue and heel tab logo, and lace tips. The sneaker is light weight and maintains quality features for added support like the mid-foot carbon fiber shank plate.
Kobe -- Nike Zoom 8 Area 72 All Star
The next popular pair of kicks DJ Skee shares with sneaker heads is the Nike Kobe Zoom 8 "Area 72" All-Star's. Loud and in your face, the alien themed sneakers are composed of a bright and total crimson color way with Spirit Turquoise accents. Added details such as the alien-like symbols found on the sneaker's swoosh, orange leather along the inner heel, and crimson Kobe signature on the outer heel make it easy to understand why these beauties are highly sought after. Not to be forgotten, the sock lining and inner sole stay true to the intergalactic "Area 72" theme and sport vibrant space-like imagery. The midsole of the shoes come in white and showcases somewhat of a rugged texture. A nice carbon fiber plate can also be found along the mid-foot of the sole for added foot support.
Kobe -- Nike Zoom 8 "Duke"
Showcasing an exclusive Duke player color way, DJ Skee next sets his sights on the Kobe Nike Zoom 8. The blue devils were blessed with a nice black and white color way that features hints of the team's signature blue along the shoe's midsole, inner lining and heel clip. For added detail, Duke's iron "D" covers the tongue of the shoe in white while the traditional Shozoku logo is located on the outer heel next to Kobe's signature. The upper portion of the sneaker is also composed of a very nice black camp that truly compliments this Duke exclusive color way the most.
Kobe - Nike Zoom 4 Duke Edition DJ Skee Exclusive
Continuing with this episode's Kobe/NCAA Tournament theme, DJ Skee saves the best for last with a special pair of Nike Kobe Zoom 4 Duke Editions. Skee shares with sneaker heads a pair of exclusive game worn Zoom 4's that happen to be signed by the entire Duke team. Not available to the public for retail purchase, the home color way comes in a primarily white upper with eye catching blue and black accents. The infamous Duke iron "D" can be found on the back of the heel just above Kobe's 24 logo which is embedded within a black crock material along the heel clip. Sporting speckled blue laces, a black bottom sole, and black Nike swoosh's with blue trimming these exclusives are easily embraced by sneaker enthusiasts as certified heat.

Skee Locker: Nike KD V "Easter" | Jordan Spiz'ike "Poison Green" | Barkley Posite Max "Eggplant"

The Easter edition KD V releases at select Nike Basketball retailers this Saturday, March 30th. This Version of the KD V is inspired by the tradition of Easter egg decorating & features a colorful Turquoise Blue Hyperfuse upper with accents in 'Bright Citrus' orange. A light minty green is also seen on the tongue and outsole. To go along with the Easter egg theme, speckled patterns are seen on the Swooshes and visible Air Max unit.
It's 2013 and the Jordan Spiz'ike is still running strong and continues to remain Jordan Brand's most popular hybrid model. Dubbed "Poison Green", these Spiz'kes take on a Easter-inspired colorway that comes just in time for the sunny Spring season. Made from smooth suede and patent leather materials, this style is definitely unlike anything we've seen before. Highlighted by its stealth and poison green accents, these kicks are brightened up by additional hits of university blue, blitz blue, yellow, and a subtle vivid sulpher tone.
Nike released Barkley Posite Max "Eggplant" on March 23rd. Building upon the silhouette's successful debut as a part of this year's All-Star "Area 72″ collection, the Barkley Posite Max is set to return this weekend in a brand new "Eggplant" colorway inspired by the classic edition of the Foamposite One. Pairing an Eggplant Foamposite upper with black nubuck and mesh across the upper, the kicks feature additional details like a speckled Max Air unit, a glow-in-the-dark outsole, and turquoise accents throughout. What really sets these off, however, is the iridescent sheen applied to the entirety of the Foamposite shell -- giving the Barkley-inspired hybrid a pearlescent, color-changing aspect reminiscent of last year's "Invisibility Cloak" Kobe VII from Nike Basketball.

Air Jordan 13 Retro Black & White He Got Game:
Releasing later this month, Jordan retros the "He Got Game" XIII model for sneaker heads everywhere. This color way of the XIII's acquires its nickname from Spike Lee's 1998 film He Got Game where Denzel Washington's character wears them. For this year's 2013 retro, the upper portion of the sneaker is composed of a quality white leather while the toe box sports an equally fine black leather. Another classic Tinker Hatfield concept, the XIII's paw print out sole and Jumpman eye-like hologram design, stand out as noteworthy features. Nice black suede can also be found along the mid sole, rear, and at each side of the shoe. These sneakers also come with simple but eye appealing red accents along the bottom sole and Jumpman logo across the tongue.
Air Jordan 1 '97 "He Got Game":
Continuing with the "He Got Game" style and color way, Jordan drops another version of the classic Air Jordan 1 Retro '97. With clear hints of the XIII model along the mid upper, the sneaker comes in a classic white, while the mid sole sports black with red stitching. The gym red out sole also comes through and provides a simple yet effective accent along the bottom. Other hints of black can be found along the inner heel, laces, rear Jumpman logo, and tongue. An Air Jordan Hologram and Nike logo pull everything together for final touches on a classic sneaker with a new look.

Jordan XX8
Always one to push the boundaries in athletic footwear, Jordan drops their newest model with the release of the XX8's. In this episode, DJ Skee shows off the new blue camo color way which recently released alongside a yellow and red color pack. Designed to mimic similar features found in sprinting shoes, the XX8's are extremely light but still come packed with new technology for added support. The high performance sneaker's external stretchy shroud comes with a zipper for added snug and stands out against a vibrant accent. On the inside, a nice light grey mesh and fuse-like material make up the sneaker. One of the more important highlights is the translucent rubber out sole which provides top notch grip. The bottom also comes equipped with a middle carbon fiber plate for less resistance and more natural movement of the foot. Molded protective carbon fiber can also be found along the heel tabs and gives buyer's support for quick cuts on the court.
Jordan Spizike "3M"
Standing out as one of the more popular Jordan hybrids, the new "3M" Spizike's are set to drop this March. The upper portion of the shoe is made up of dark grey or charcoal suede with bright yellow stitching to match the side wings. Silver 3M material can also be found along the sneakers front and side mudguard, tongue lace cover and below the famous Spike Lee Brooklyn logo along the back heel. Always a must, this Spizike model comes equipped with a light metallic silver elephant print that blends nicely with the sneaker's 3M portions. Red hints are featured on the lace holders and jumpman logo across the tongue, while yellow accents appear along the heel air bubble and inner sock lining. A simple black tongue and black laces attempt to pull everything together from the front.

In this special edition of Skee Locker sneaker expert DJ Skee unboxes & reviews the most anticipated shoe of 2013, the Nike LeBron X "Corks". As a bonus we also take a look at the Air Jordan III "Bright Crimson".
Nike LeBron X (10) EXT (QS) "Corks" really pay attention to detail and offer sneaker heads something different. The upper portion of the shoe is made up of authentic cork material. Other noteworthy details are the shoe's vent designs, flywire laces, chocolate brown leather tongue, and multiple cool lass Nike swoosh's. The midsole of the shoe is an off creamy white with clear TPU material just above it. The top of the tongue sports a black "LJ" logo with a gold crown to top it off. Along the tongue there's also an ingrained signature from Lebron within the leather.
Following the recent release of the limited Joker's, Jordan drops the III model again in a nice black, bright crimson and canyon purple elephant print color way. The sneakers lower white mid sole provides an interesting contrast against a vibrant crimson accent also found within the inner heel lining. With quality features on these kicks such as the black leather upper and 3M material along the sneaker's tongue and toe box. -

Sneaker expert DJ Skee unboxes Nike's "Area 72" All Star Weekend Alien Pack which includes the Nike Zoom Lebron X, Kevin Durant Zoom KD V MS (Mid Season), Barkley Posite Max PRM QS (Premium Quick Strike), Nike Air Force Max Ray Gun. The "Area 72" pack features reflective 3M, alien skin, galaxy type lining, glow in the dark materials, and more. We also get a sneak peak into the next Skee Locker episode featuring the most anticipated shoe of 2013...
Nike Air Force Max 2013 is made up of an upper wolf grey color way with reflective 3M material. In addition, the sneaker also showcases glow in the dark accents along the eyelets and sole of the shoes. Not to be forgotten, the Ray Gun logo on the tongue not only compliments the "Area 72" collection but adds a nice detail.
Nike Lebron 10 Extraterrestrial follows the alien theme of the "Area 72" collection and comes in a smooth Laser Purple color way. A nice Strata Grey and Crimson color contrast can also be viewed along the Nike swoosh and sole of the shoe. The extra glittery and spacey details that went into making these are sure to catch eyes and already are considered a must have amongst sneaker enthusiasts.
Nike Kevin Durant V (5) has a Liquid Lime, Crimson and Turquoise color way, the "Area 72" version of Durant's V signature model is turning heads with its unique alien theme. The extraterrestrial features of the shoe can be seen from the Nike swoosh which sports a scaly appearance, the galaxy artwork on the tongue and inner sole, and certain areas such as the rear heel of the shoe mimic an alien skin type of theme. Finally, the "Area 72" version of Kevin Durant's logo on the tongue of the shoe pulls everything together for a final alien like touch.
Nike Barkley Posite Max follows the spacey alien theme of the "Area 72" pack heavy. With a very cool glow in the dark sole, the Posite's are also constructed of 3M material which covers the upper portion of the sneaker along with a nice reflection feature for added detail. Speckled artwork can be found across the shoe's design from its laces, rear bottom purple air bubble, and upper portion which appears to be designed with black and white space-like imagery. The back of the shoe sports the official Charles Barkley logo in purple and the bottom of the sneakers reads "model" on one foot while the other reads "not a role model". Finally, the shoe displays the fan favorite Ray Gun logo across each tongue.

Skee Locker: Nike Lunar Force 1 Showcased By DJ Skee [Celebrating 30 Years Of Air Force 1]

Live from Nike Sportswear Customization Studio at the Montalbán, located in Hollywood, California. Sneaker expert DJ Skee unboxes, reviews and showcases the White, Black & Digi Camo colorway Nike Lunar Force 1 which comes from the celebration of 30 years of service for the Nike Air Force 1. In this episode of Skee Locker, DJ Skee gives us a brief history of Nike Air Force 1 and takes us 5 years back to the 25th Anniversary of Air Force 1 which was largely centered around its history and the culture it created. He then tells us how Nike brand will be updating the Lunar Force 1 model with two core technologies "Nike Hyperfuse" and "Nike Lunarlon" that have spread throughout their product line.
At the pinnacle of this year's initiative is the Lunar Force 1, a game-changing shoe that revolutionizes the classic sneaker with two of Nike's most advanced technologies — Lunarlon cushioning and Hyperfuse construction. An innovative remake that stays true to the unique heritage of the Air Force 1, yet catapults it into a new era of relevance, the shoe was redesigned from the inside out and from the ground up. Nike replaced the midsole's heel Air unit — itself a radical innovation in 1982 — with springy Lunarlon foam and a heel Zoom Air unit, enhancing comfort and flexibility while also reducing weight. New Hyperfuse uppers, meanwhile, utilize a unique unibody construction, fusing three layers for even lighter weight and minimized seams. Additional refinements like an inner booty, reflective Swoosh and slimmed-down toe box complete the package, one that now weighs in at a mere 11.7 ounces. Some detailed branding is seen on the tongue, while the inner sole sports the "AF1 XXX" collection. The shoe is slated to drop at select shops on December 12, 2012.

The Air Jordan IV celebrates it's 23rd birthday this year and therefore it is no surprise that it comes back in a its classic black/red colorway, also known as "Bred". This 2012 edition of Air Jordan IV Retro utilizes a full-suede upper in black and everything else remains true to the original with cement grey and fire red accenting throughout. The "Bred" AJ IV Retro will release at select Jordan Brand accounts on Black Friday, November 23 2012.
The Nike Free Run+ 2 sneaker is upgraded with a woven & leather tonal upper and an off-white speckled Free outer sole. The sneaker comes in three colorways featuring Smoke, Squadron Blue and Seaweed. Nike Free Run+ 2 is a part of the limited edition Tier Zero NSW pack.
