For our latest mission, we installed a photography studio on a random subway car. We claimed that the MTA had hired us to take photos of every single person who rides the subway and that we'd be producing a yearbook at the end of the year. Most people were happy to pose for us, and the resulting photos show just how diverse New York subway riders can be.

A little league baseball game is turned into a major league event. All players, coaches, and parents do not know what is happening. We worked with the league commissioner to get the kids' names and access to the field to setup our equipment the morning of the game. He was the only one in on it. NBC Sports worked with us and got us the jumbotron and the blimp.

Participants of all ages spread out from Red Hook to Brooklyn Heights, very seriously walking their very silly dogs.

For our latest mission, we attempted to stage a sequel to our Star Wars Subway Car mission, using characters from Episode 1: The Phantom Menace. Jar Jar Binks entered a random train car and informed subway riders that he was scared that Darth Maul was chasing him. If things had gone as planned, people would have laughed and been surprised when Darth Maul showed up at the next stop.

Unfortunately, three men on the train decided to ruin the fun for everyone by assaulting our actor playing Jar Jar. We were not going to even post this mission, but the actor who played Jar Jar wants to press charges, and we are searching for information on the three guys who attacked him. We hope that someone who sees this video will know them personally or recognize their faces.

For April Fool's Day this year, we uploaded a new video called Jar Jar Subway Car (a supposed sequel to last year's mission Star Wars Subway Car.) The video made it seem like our actor playing Jar Jar Binks was assaulted by three random strangers on the train. As the behind the scenes video above will show you, it was a hoax. For the Second Annual Black Tie Beach, hundreds of participants spent a day at Rockaway Beach in black tie attire. We covered a half mile-long stretch with a diverse group of people of all ages laying out, playing games, and swimming in the ocean in formal wear. Agents were instructed to find cheap tuxedos and ball gowns at thrift stores for the occasion.

Our wedding ceremony featured a surprise stunt where we were interrupted by a professional wrestler. Besides the bride and groom, only the officiant and groomsmen were in on the prank. 80 people enter a Manhattan Best Buy wearing blue polo shirts and khaki pants. Chaos ensues.

    Backstory: http://improveverywhere.com/2011/11/07/best-buy-remastered/

This 2006 mission is the first in a series of remastered videos we are producing from our archives to commemorate our 10th anniversary. We are going through our original tapes and updating old classics with higher quality video and audio, as well as adding additional never-before-seen footage. Due to file size restrictions in the early days of YouTube, many of these videos have only been seen in extremely low 240p quality. The remastered Best Buy video adds some interactions with employees that we didn't even realize we had on tape!

Since Aspen, Colorado has an African American population of 0.44%, we decided to give the locals a chance to meet a black person. We put comedian Colton Dunn in an empty hot chocolate kiosk at the foot of the mountain to greet folks as they exited the slopes.

For our latest mission we converted a New York City subway car into a "sleeper car," giving New Yorkers the chance to rest their heads during a late night commute. We set up three beds, each outfitted with a comforter, pillow, and sheets. Pajamas, sleep masks, and earplugs were also provided as part of this unauthorized free service. The project took place on the above-ground N train in Astoria, Queens around midnight on a Sunday evening.

For our latest mission, we made 100 car alarms go off simultaneously in a shopping center parking lot in Staten Island. After parking their cars, 100 participants grouped together behind a 10-foot tall wall in a dead end on the other side of the lot. Participants were then conducted like an orchestra as they pressed their horn or "panic" buttons on their keyless entry remotes. Shoppers and employees at the Lowe's and Kohl's stores were surprised by this unauthorized and mercifully brief project.

Synchronized Swimming (in a public fountain)

    by ImprovEverywhere 809,674 views

This is a remastered version of our 2004 event. It was on YouTube in 240p quality, so we went back to the original footage and re-edited it to be higher quality video and audio. Unfortunately back in 2004 we weren't as good at filming our events as we are now. Only one camera was used. We hope you enjoy it despite the low production value!

Improv Everywhere performs a 16-person synchronized swimming routine in the fountain in Washington Square Park. Posing as the official New York City synchronized swimming team, the Olympic-hopefuls compete in three inches of dirty water in this unauthorized event. Will the judges reward their effort?

This 2004 mission is the third in a series of remastered videos we are producing from our archives to commemorate our 10th anniversary. We are going through our original tapes and updating old classics with higher quality video and audio, as well as adding additional never-before-seen footage. Due to file size restrictions in the early days of YouTube, many of these videos have only been seen in extremely low 240p quality. The remastered Synchronized Swimming video dramatically improves the video quality and removes the previously used copyrighted music, allowing the video to be seen in some countries for the first time.

For our latest mission, a group of 24 actors between the ages of 48 and 78 staged an unauthorized boardroom meeting in the office chair department of a Staples. The chairs in this particular office supply store were already arranged in a boardroom configuration, making it easy for us to hold a surprise meeting. Actor Will Hines gave a presentation to the board, using a whiteboard and an easel he had bought from the store just minutes prior. Minutes into the meeting, the board was asked to leave by a confused store manager.

For our latest mission, we had 100 people camp out in front of a 99 cent store in Manhattan on Black Friday. Participants arrived early in the morning with tents, chairs, and sleeping bags, making it look like they had camped out overnight. When the store opened, the crowd rushed inside and made purchases, buying 99 cent items with glee. Actress Cody Lindquist posed as a local NBC news reporter and conducted interviews with confused and delighted store employees and passersby.

    Suicide Jumper (Remastered!)

    by ImprovEverywhere 560,400 views

We found a four-foot tall ledge in Midtown Manhattan and decided to put a suicide jumper on it. This is a newly remastered video from a project we did in 2005, more info below.

This 2005 mission is the fourth in a series of remastered videos we are producing from our archives to commemorate our 10th anniversary. We are going through our original tapes and updating old classics with higher quality video and audio, as well as adding additional never-before-seen footage. Due to file size restrictions in the early days of YouTube, many of these videos have only been seen in extremely low 240p quality. The remastered Suicide Jumper video dramatically improves the video quality and removes the previously used copyrighted music, allowing the video to be seen in some countries for the first time.
