Scores of children killed in Houla 'massacre' (Graphic)

Over 90 people were killed during an attack by Syrian security forces on Houla, a town in the Homs province, on Friday. The victims reportedly included at least 25 children, some of whom died from shelling, while others appear to have been shot or bludgeoned to death as soldiers raided homes. The attacks come as UN observers are visiting the country to assess the security situation and help quell the ongoing violence.
