Shuttle Endeavour visits Houston en route to California

Space shuttle Endeavour departed Ellington Field, Houston, early on September 20, continuing its journey towards Los Angeles, where it will be housed in the California Science Center. Endeavour will pass low over several cities on September 20, including Tucson, Arizona, the home of the last person to command an Endeavor mission, retired astronaut Mark Kelly, and his wife, former Congresswoman Gabrielle Giffords. Endeavour is due to arrive in Los Angeles on Friday, September 21.
