Behold the majesty that is Cole Seely. A native of central California, Cole runs the show in this heart-thumping motocross video on his home soil at Zaca Station. As one of the most picturesque tracks on the West Coast, Zaca is a prime canvas for the masterful artistry that Cole is spitting out. The TLD Honda frontman has not ridden a national since 2011, but as you may have been able to tell, his prep for Hangtown 2013 is moving along swimmingly.

Cole is a self-proclaimed SX specialist, but he grew up on the same MX tracks as the rest of the California natives. Seely excels on bike skill and technical ability. His scrubs are literally the type of things kids talk about at the dinner table, and he has been known to throw a whip that would straight up hurt a lesser man's feelings.

Mad Mike drifting Crown Range in New Zealand

The Crown Range, New Zealand. 47 corners, 1076 metres elevation, 10.4km long. The country's highest paved roadway. For a moment in time it belongs to one man, Mike Whiddett. The moment will become, the drive of a lifetime.

The former state highway cuts a path between Queenstown and Wanaka. It is a short cut, which has long been a route for travellers. The first track dates back to the early gold rush days. The road now is still one of the most demanding and technical drives of the country.

The drive for Mike Whiddett will be challenging and faster than most. For the first time in NZ motorsport history, the road has been closed across three sections for a unique filming opportunity. The New Zealand-based international drift driver has a chance to push his bespoke quad-rotor rotary engine car to new limits on a completely clear road. The road closure signs are rolled out; it is time for Mad Mike to Conquer the Crown.

On paper, the first section of the road appears to be the trickiest. Seven consecutive hairpin turns on a near-vertical mountainside climb give the Switchbacks their name. The second section is all about speed. Whiddett pulls sixth gear along the Crown Terrace and winds the Mazda RX7's 750 horsepower engine out to its redline. He hits 232km/h before slowing, fleetingly pulling on the handbrake to lock the rear wheels before stomping back on the accelerator. The tyres erupt back into a spinning frenzy; black marks the bitumen. This is drifting nirvana in its purest form.

The run up to the Crown Summit is a fusion of high, medium and low speed bends, created to attack sideways. With barriers flanking the road at one side and exposed banks at the other, it mimics the mountain touge roads that the Japanese forefathers of the sport originally, and illicitly, ran by moonlight. The margin for error is slim here, but Whiddett never backs off as the final forty-seventh corner passes by in a blur.

"I think drifters have an innate ability to slip from reality when driving up a road like the Crown Range in normal circumstances. We imagine drifting through the turns, the gear changes, the footwork, the hand brake and of course stomping on the gas. So for me, having the opportunity to get behind the wheel of my machine, push it to the limit and conquer the Crown is a dream turned into a reality," says Whiddett.

Adriano De Souza won the last event, the Rip Curl Pro, Bells Beach, and being from Sao Paulo, this is as close as it gets to a hometown event for him. He will have the whole city behind him, with the passion only a Brazil crowd can offer in support.

Nat Young, Californian World Tour rookie, is looking to make an impact on his first year. He's already headed the right way, having placed second at the Rip Curl Pro, Bells Beach and runner-up to Adriano.

It's hard to say whose at an advantage in the punchy beachbreaks of Rio, as both men perform in any conditions. Will Nat stumble under the rookie spotlight, or step up to the plate? Will Adriano crack under the home crowd pressure, or continue his momentum to the podium again in Brazil? 21Days offers the inside track to these two story lines, heading into stop number three of the ASP World Tour. Through insightful interviews and hometown settings, we'll follow Adriano and Nat as they go through the motions during the event's lead up.

The only question is, what happens next?

Every winter Nikita leaves Russia for some hot and sunny place, but this year circumstances left him in his home city - Saint Petersburg. As he was walking around the city center, he noticed that after the thaw the river ice broke up, exposing the stream in some places.

That's when he got the idea to wakeboard in this place. The difficulties and dangers were obvious: it sounds rather impossible to implement this bold plan in the historical city centre in the middle of a regular day. But self-confidence and conviction that strong spirit knows no limits helped this project come to life.

Inner City Slopestyle Ski Contest - Red Bull Playstreets 2013

Inner city slopestyle madness in the idyllic Austrian town of Bad Gastein. Some of the world's best riders showcased their skills on roadgaps, walldrops and roof rails in a unique freeski contest.

Canadian freeskier Charles Gagnier won the 2013 edition of Red Bull Playstreets. Gus Kenworthy (US) took second place and Charles Gagnier's younger brother Vincent also joined the podium after defeating Elias Ambühl in the small final.

Best All-Around Snowboarder Crowned - Red Bull Ultra Natural 2013

Sixteen of the world's best snowboarders converged on the run known as "Scary Cherry" at Baldface Lodge, fighting deteriorating weather as the day went along, but only one rider could take home the top honor at Red Bull Ultra Natural.

In the end, Austria's Gigi Rüf stood on top of the podium after putting together a creative run showcasing his unique style, utilizing a variety of both the natural and man-made features on the mile long course. Switzerland's Nicolas Müller not only took second place but was also presented the Best Trick Award with a gigantic mute air over a tree, sending himself nearly 100-feet down the 45+ degree course.

Rounding out the podium was Southern California's Bryan Fox, a first-timer at Red Bull Ultra Natural and a late addition to the event as a wildcard entry.

Windsurfing in Ireland - Mission 1 - Red Bull Storm Chase 2013

10 of the world's best windsurfers from eight countries completed a demanding competition in Kerry, Ireland during the first mission of the Red Bull Storm Chase - the most-challenging windsurfing contest of all time.

Despite recorded storm-force gusts of up to 74 knots (137kmh) and fierce 20-ft waves, the sailors completed three rounds of competition in two locations on the Maharees peninsular.

Giorgio Zavos and his friends, George Papadimitriou and Koger Sarbast, discovered an untraditional skateboarding gem in the hills of Athens. Lying on top of Parnitha hill, the old abandon building holds a long history and a "ghostly" story, but this didn't stop the trio from putting on a skate session that was truly out of the ordinary.

Οι σανίδες τους, τους οδήγησαν αρχικά στη Δραπετσώνα, στο Εργοστάσιο Λιπασμάτων που λειτουργούσε για έναν αιώνα και, αλλάζοντας κατά καιρούς επιχειρηματικά χέρια, έκλεισε οριστικά το 1999 αφήνοντας χωρίς εργασία 380 άτομα. Στη συνέχεια, κατευθύνθηκαν βόρεια, εκεί όπου η Πάρνηθα μετατράπηκε σε νεκρή φύση μετά τις πυρκαγιές του 2007, στο απόκοσμο Παλιό Σανατόριο που για κάποιους θεωρείται στοιχειωμένο ενώ εκεί το 1938 γράφτηκε η «Εαρινή Συμφωνία» τον ασθενή τότε και μεγάλο μας ποιητή Γιάννης Ρίτσο. Δύο κτίρια που κουβαλούν μεγάλη ιστορία αλλά και διάφορους μύθους, πήραν νέα πνοή... και χρώμα χάρη στα nose pick, drop, smith, front board, pop shuvit και άλλα εντυπωσιακά tricks του 23χρονου street skater και της παρέας του.

Driven by David Coulthard, the 2011 Championship-winning RB7 toured Liberty State Park and its spectacular views of the New York City skyline and the Statue of Liberty. The RB7 then moved on to one of the main arteries linking New York and New Jersey - the Lincoln Tunnel. Wrapping up its American vacation, the RB7 became the first Formula One car to lay rubber on the Grand Prix of America streets in West New York and Weehawken, New Jersey, bringing residents out of their homes to catch the historic sight.

MTB Slopestyle Contest - Red Bull Joyride 2012 Canada

The level of difficulty of the Red Bull Joyride course, designed by the athletes for the athletes, and the high level of talent that competed blew away the judges and the crowd all night long. Over 25,000 wide-eyed fans were on-hand to witness 19-year-old Thomas Genon of Belgium claim the top step of the podium at Red Bull Joyride, the anchor event of Crankworx Whistler 2012. In second place was Red Bull athlete Martin Soderstrom of Sweden and in third was American Cam McCaul. With this win, all three athletes earn themselves an automatic invite to come back to compete for the next three years.
