Mario & Luigi's Ultimate Attack!

In commemoration of Nintendo's Year of Luigi, I present to you, Mario & Luigi's Ultimate Attack!

I spent a good chunk of time working on this. Tried a lot of new things this time too, the hardest part was trying to work while Flash's (CS5.5) limits were maxed out. I kept getting "there is no more memory to perform this action," or something.

I taught myself how to use blender too, just basic stuff. Like creating the solar system, and making the moon blow up into over 3000 pieces.

Well this took FOREVER. This is the most detailed animation I've made to date, hope you guys liked it! I recreated the intro from Batman the Animated Series, with a Pokemon twist! I rotoscoped a bit and practiced drawing super heroes for a few days to get this style down somewhat to keep the look consistent throughout (I'd also like to credit the anime "Toaru Majutsu no Index" cause that's where I got that epic punch from). I learned a lot from this, and I can't wait to apply what I've learned to my next animations :D

I'm going to take a little breather for a while (for GUILD WARS 2!) but when I return I plan on doing some more NoPUNintendo! Super detailed animations like this really take a lot, so it might be a while until I do something like this again.

Monster Hunter: Poached Wyvern Eggs

This is my most favorite video game in the whole wide world (next to Mario RPG for SNES). And I find it absurd that there isn't more love for it, the only other person I can think of who made an animation for MH so far is Inkoseh/bleedingcrow. Who I want to marry. But whatever.

I love you Monster Hunter. Even if Capcom keeps you locked up in Japan and doesn't give most of your games online capabilities. I still love you. Now that's 3 animations back to back, I'm going to take it easy for a while. I'll probably do another "How I Got Through.." next :)

How I Got Through Dark Souls

IRON FLESH. Nothing better than a metal zombie (UPDATE: this was before it was nerfed).

The animation probably makes no sense unless you've played the game. Iron Flesh is a Pyromancy spell that.. Makes you turn into iron. Quite useful, made the game much easier. Took about 2 days to animate.

DISCLAIMER: At one point in this short I make a little joke about Machinima, I want to make it clear that, I don't hate Machinima. I'm not the greatest animator in the world, but my opinion of a SOME of the other Machinima animators is quite low, in fact because of how bad their animations are it INSPIRED me to animate, because if they can do it, anyone can.

Anyway, this is just a little animation about me making more animations (It's a spoof of Shadow of the Colossus if you didn't catch it). So every cartoon I make is essentially part of a series about me becoming a better animator, and potentially befriending other great animators! This was also a little tribute to every animator mentioned in the video! I'll give an internet cookie to whoever can name them all.
