Coming out/ closet as Gay Seventh-day Adventist Christian, Sexuality gender brain body attraction

Just a video of me coming out to the world ~
It's a matter of life and death,

Some Gay Seventh-day Adventists can be very depressed, thinking that they can't stop being gay no matter how hard they try, and they can't see a life of not being an SDA Christian.

If you are struggling with some identity issues, let me know ~ I'd love to have a chat and listen to your story, especially if you're in Sydney or if I know you in real life ~
I know what it feels like to be afraid to talk to every person you know, in case word would spread -
I think that all closeted people have probably developed some strong paranoia n__n

I'm vlogging every day in August for VEDA, but uploading some of the videos as private, and when people start finding out that I'm gay, I'll release all the videos to the public, on facebook etc. ~ I kinda wanna post it now (20 minutes past midnight April 2nd now..) But maybe not..

If you are a straight person who is loving and accepting of gay people - come out as an ally of GLBT people ~
You have a job that no gay person can do - set an example for fellow straight people ~

Though it was April fools day - this is no joke - mainly posted in April because of Vlog Every Day in April - and it's just when I felt I needed to come out - the responce has been really positive - different to what I was imaginging ~

Hello ~ are you not attracted to men or women? you may be asexual, and that's ok~

Seventh-day Adventist Position Statement on Homosexuality

The Seventhday Adventist Church recognizes that every human being is valuable in the sight of God, and we seek to minister to all men and women in the spirit of Jesus. We also believe that by God's grace and through the encouragement of the community of faith, an individual may live in harmony with the principles of God's Word.

Seventhday Adventists believe that sexual intimacy belongs only within the marital relationship of a man and a woman. This was the design established by God at creation. The Scriptures declare: "For this reason a man will leave his father and mother and be united to his wife, and they will become one flesh" (Gen 2:24, NIV). Throughout Scripture this heterosexual pattern is affirmed. The Bible makes no accommodation for homosexual activity or relationships. Sexual acts outside the circle of a heterosexual marriage are forbidden (Lev 18:5-23, 26; Lev 20:721; Rom 1:2427; 1 Cor 6:911). Jesus Christ reaffirmed the divine creation intent: "'Haven't you read,' he replied, 'that at the beginning the Creator "made them male and female," and said, "For this reason a man will leave his father and mother and be united to his wife, and the two will become one flesh?" So they are no longer two, but one'" (Matt 19:46, NIV). For these reasons Seventh-day Adventists are opposed to homosexual practices and relationships.

Jesus affirmed the dignity of all human beings and reached out compassionately to persons and families suffering the consequences of sin. He offered caring ministry and words of solace to struggling people, while differentiating His love for sinners from His clear teaching about sinful practices. As His disciples, Seventh-day Adventists endeavor to follow the Lord's instruction and example, living a life of Christ-like compassion and faithfulness.

This statement was voted during the Annual Council of the General Conference Executive Committee on Sunday, October 3, 1999 in Silver Spring, Maryland. Revised by the General Conference Executive Committee, October 17, 2012.

    Answering some questions ~
Why am I posting this on YouTube and telling everyone?
    I'd rather one of:
    ~ No one knows
    ~ Everyone does.
none of this - gossiping and news spreading anyway..

Also I feel I have a work to do..
Gay teens are more likely to kill themselves ~
So I want to be there for them.

    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Suicide_among_LGBT_youth

I especially want to be there for Seventh-day Adventist young people struggling with similar issues. The SDA church is part a very strong cultural group with strong faith, which is great, but the closed, sometimes very conservative culture can put a lot of pressure on gay Christians especially young ones.

SDA churches should be welcoming - rather than trying to throw out gay people - especially when some of those gay people want to be there...

The way I see it - the more conservative, the more one should follow the Bible at its word, as in, following Jesus' example and loving all people - especially the ones rejected by the rest of society, like prostitutes and tax collectors.
