I love the fact that we can choose our soap bases, shea butter to goat milk, to be decorative and moisturizing for personal use or as a gift! These soaps feel and cleanse just like luxury store brand soaps. I went to a local AC Moore Craft Store (http://www.acmoore.com/search.aspx?categoryid=301&showall=false) to start learning on how to make soap by the basic process of melt and pour. Soap making kits starts at $22 to make about 10 bars. I spent $45 on buying supplies separately to make 37 bars of fun soap. It is easy, inexpensive and fun to make your own soap. Here's are a few ideas to decorate soaps for guys and ladies as gifts.

-1 to 2 lbs of White Base Soap (Any white soap base like shea butter)
-1 to 2 lbs of Clear Glycerin Base
-Water Soluble Soap Dyes
-Essential Oil or Fragrance Oil
-Reusable Soap Mold or Silicone Baking Mold
-Double Boiler or Microwave for 25 seconds then in 10-second intervals
-X-Acto Knife
-Plastic Wrap
-Heat Safe Container
-Cutting Board
-Rubbing Alcohol in a Spray Bottle
-Soap Cutter or Kitchen Knife
