Playground Music Scandinavia is an independent record company operating since 1999 all over the Nordic region (Denmark, Finland, Norway, Sweden, Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania)

Playground produces, sells, markets and promotes music in physical and digital form from local offices in Copenhagen, Oslo, Stockholm and Tampere. The administrative headquarter is based in Malmö

Playground has since the start been developing a strong identity as a company where music matters and the artists are at the forefront. We value in professionalism, personal relations and innovative ideas how to present the music to the listeners.

Playground artists directly signed or represented include: Jenny Wilson, Sofia Karlsson, The Rasmus, Frida Hyvönen, Jeanette Lindström, Tutankamon, Brothers of End, Mattias Hellberg & The White Moose, Daniel Lindström, Ace of Base, Snook, Strip Music, Ayesha, The Concretes, Lucy Love, Karen Busck, Ufo & Yepha, Anna David among many others.

Playground is the owner of the Swedish label Diesel with artists like Lisa Nilsson, Koop, Mauro Scocco, Titiyo and Blacknuss in the catalogue.

Playground co-owns the label Pope Records, home to Maskinen, Capetown and Teron Beal.

Playground represents local labels like Licking Fingers, Brus&Knaster, Heptagon, Imperial, Morningside, Murena among many others throughout Scandinavia.

Playground represents several international independent labels such as Beggars Banquet, 4AD, Domino, Matador, XL Recordings, PIAS Comedy, Eagle Rock, New West, Munich, Edel, Eagle Vision, World Circuit and many more.

Playground has local distribution partners on Iceland and in Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania, thereby offering of full scale representation for the whole Nordic region.
