A video can take an average 2 weeks to prepare. Get the set locked down, cast the people, buy all the props, several days just to put the idea together. Then there is one-two days to shoot, which you have to do fast because there are several people involved who give you their blood sweat and tears. Last the editing takes a week-two weeks. So to answer your question a music video is at least a month of work. The apologize video is an exception cause I did that with the help of ONE friend. I spent I think three days shooting that in my apartment. I almost set the place on fire. Do no burn stuff in your living room!
