thanksfor the video.... some facts where explained the wrong way, about ethopia defeating somalia.. NO Somalians and the Ogaden ethnically Somalians in the ogaden.. defeated the tigray and amhara ethopian oppresors and empiralist.... then since ethiopians where christian and the Somalians where black muslims.. thats why ethiopia got helped financialy and military and soldier suppoert from Christian nations like Russia, America, and Portugise and Cuban and libya and yeman... so that was minimum 5 different nations against the 1 n only Somalian black muslim nation.. so yeh it wasnt defeat but it was Plain Cowardice and christians ganging up on a Black Muslim east-african nation, the Somali'ans...

Yes, I realize that I oversimplified this aspect. I did not have enough time to include all that in this short format which was brief on the history and more focused on the cultural aspect. I tried to keep it under 10 minutes. The other part of this project was an oral report on the culture and health care, especially in Finland. I understand that the history of Somalia is deeper than I was able to reveal in the amount of time that I had. Consequently, most of what I show in the film is just the 'tip of the iceberg'. There are indeed many more layers of Somalian history to be considered and more complex machinations to be examined. To that end, I encourage people to find out for themselves about Somalian history and culture by reading as many different resources out there, so that they may understand for themselves the richness of this land and its people.

You did wonderful job if you things you failed to mentioned on your somalia project.. such as that somalia was fighting with not only eithopia but with russia military experts and supplies, and cuban military personal we We won the war against ethipia in 1977-1978 but lost it to russians and Cubans communist...
also there is land ogadenia land that belongs to somalis which is now occupied by ethopians beacuse it was given to them by the britins to punish somalis for choosing under going italian occupation rather then them so they felt betrayed.. also there NFD land(northern Frontier District) its somali inhabitated and still under Kenyas occupation.
