ALERT: Are you are responsible owner of a large constrictor snake or do you support those people who are? Senate bill 373 has been amended to list several species of large pythons, anacondas, and the Boa constrictor as "injurious wildlife" under the Lacey Act. This would prohibit their importation, breeding, sale, trade, and interstate transport and make such actions a criminal offense. Good grief .. if people who choose to have animals in their life were respectful, responsible and accountable using good old common sense and decency all of this massive amount of discourse could be eliminated. Too much to hope for .. probably!! Good for those who care and walk the walk.

On behalf of our council , the Dog Legislation Council of Canada, we look forward to the day when PIJAC works along side our council ( and others ) in Canada, fighting to end breed specific legislation. LeeAnn O'Reilly, President of the DLCC.

This is a great video that really hits the points and hits them hard--thanks for posting it.

Thank you PIJAC for getting involved! If we can't get the word out to the millions of pet owners that have absolutely no idea about the threats to our pet ownership rights, we will not have pets in our homes. The Animal Rights groups such as PETA, HSUS, etc., are determined to remove all animals from our lives and have millions of dollars to lobby for bills to make it increasingly more difficult and costly to have our pets. We truly have to make a stand NOW!

Thank you. For the actions you have taken to inform legislators and the public on pet issues. The difference between animal rights and animal welfare cannot be promoted too much. Great video!
