iono what to effing call this. I guess the long title is "Papersak sings Yamato Nadeshiko Spirits at Anime Idol at Nebraskon and evidently sucks because she's a drama llama who didn't advance."
I emphasize "drama llama." Ah well. My overconfidence was destroyed that year but I still have my finale song (it's called a finale song, not a backup) that I can use again. Which... is exactly what happened two years ago... I meant to sing this for the finale but didn't advance because I can't sing Hishou no Sora. Which that time I agreed with, it's too high for my pansy self. xP But this year I... have a number of rants that I won't post here unless provoked.
And why was Yamato my finale last last year? BECAUSE THIS VERSION OF YAMATO IS BEAUTIFUL. MIND NUMBINGLY BEAUTIFUL. And it deserved more attention. I wish I'd done it more justice.
In my defense (not really) the song's echo was really confusing when it came to rhythm. Toward the second half of the song, I sang what I believed to be too early/fast cause I really couldn't hear the music (which bring us to the judge's later comment that I was way too loud ^^;).
I liked being on stage, though. I really wanted that finale, even if I had lost, but hey, th... fourth... time's the charm? ^^;
It's by no means perfect. But it's one of my all-time favorite songs. x3
Thanks to my sister who recorded the vid and all my buds who were sitting up front and being awesome. :3 One of these years, we needs record the whole Idol, but I always forget. ^^;
