I am glad to see a child so talented and so excited about music. But isn't he entitled to have his fun without being burdened with the word "prodigy" ? You're encouraging not his musicality but his exhibitionism. Just a thought... Good luck and best wishes!
Incidentally, the recherche people play this piece without a conductor. Not that anyone asked.
