ya do whatever is easiest for you. when i say it has a transparent sound i mean when you hit a note it has a very resonent sound....almost like there is air around the note...think of a chord strummed on an acoustic guitar. warwicks have a very dense sound to me, probably becuase they use very very dense woods in their basses.......that doesnt mean i wont end up buying one somewere in the future lol

hey lol, i'll talk to ya on here i dont feel like taking up all the comment space on zodiak's vids lol! warwick strings arent bad, ive only played them on warwick basses and too me warwicks sound way different than my ibanez. my ibanez has a nice transparent sound that i like, warwicks are awesome but they dont really have any transparency too the sound...at least in my opinion. i always use rotosound strings but lately ive been playing DR's because i cant find any rotosound 6 string sets lol. so idk, warwick strings sound pretty good from what ive played. if your in for a challenge keep your 6 string in standard tuning....u wont even need to drop tune since u have the low B
