Peacock Acres provides therapeutic residential care and transitional support services to current and former foster youth and probationary youth in Monterey County with the purpose of guiding them toward becoming successful, independent adults. We currently operate four unique residential programs: Therapeutic Group Homes for boys ages 7-17; Incarceration to Success (I2S) for probationary boys ages 16-19; Transitional Housing Placement Program (THPP) for foster teens ages 16-18; and the Peacock Acres Transitional Housing program (PATH-Plus/ THPP-Plus) for former foster youth ages 18-24. Peacock Acres provides youth with a drug- and gang-free home environment, independent living skills instruction and life coaching, guidance and support in finding and securing employment, and therapy and counseling services as appropriate on an individual basis. When youth enter our programs, they are given a stable home environment and guidance from case managers in making a plan for independent living.
