NOTE: I DO NOT HAVE ANY RIGHT TO DISTRIBUTE THE SHEET MUSIC FOR THESE VIDEOS. I ALWAYS TRY TO INDICATE IN THE DESCRIPTION WHERE I ACQUIRED A PIECE. MUCH AS I LOVE TO PARTAKE OF THE SHEET MUSIC (INCLUDING TABS) TO ANYONE WHO ASKS, MY AIM IS ONLY TO INSPIRE AND NOT TO BREAK THE LAW. THE AUTHORS OF THESE MUSIC MAY HAVE A BIG-ENOUGH HEART TO EITHER AUTHORIZE ME TO SHARE (IF THEY EVER READ THIS) OR BE ACCESSIBLE TO THE PUBLIC SO THEY THEMSELVES CAN SHARE THEIR WONDERFUL ARRANGEMENTS. THANKS AND GOD BLESS.

This site is dedicated to all struggling self-taught guitarists like me. It's a daily battle between persevering and giving up. I choose the former. Growing up in the Phils. in the 80s/90s with no access to decent instruction and sheet music, I was stuck with an obscure Noad book called "Solo Guitar Playing" and a copy of a copy of Segovia's 20 Studies....courtesy of Recto Ave. Thank God for the internet, access to sheet music and music itself is no longer a barrier.
My recording equipment? A camcoder (video), Tascam DR-07 (audio for newer videos). I also add some reverb, but have not processed the sound of any of my recordings. I have some recording equipment but never the time to set them up.
I use my ever-faithful Antonio Loriente "Angela" guitar. I'm sure there are better ones out there, but this guitar is a product of my sweat and tears. Every time I play it, I know I worked hard to earn this beautiful instrument.
I've also discovered the beauty of Philippine-borne music. Arrangements of kundiman songs by Filipino guitarists are far and few in between. My renditions are not the best, but I hope this encourages others, who are a million times better players than I will ever be, to step up and keep the music alive for the current and future generations of pinoys.

I'm taking a breather and going for the easy pieces for now. These are gems scattered throughout the "The Philippine Guitar" book.
