No, that does not mean any non-current band that's a "classic". I despise those who listen to Guns n Roses, Queen, and Aerosmith and think they're better than Lady Gaga fans. You're all content to settle for substandard shit, and neither of you is better than the other.

I speak of the Deadheads, the fans of Jimi and John, Janis, and all of the other greats who-odd concept, I know-could write a song AND play an instrument. Well, that is. Those who gag at the butchering of metaphor that is "Every rose has it's thorn", and snub their nose at every song some douche ever wrote about sex with a hooker like they're a lyrical wordsmith. Those who can do nothing but laugh at Axl Rose's pathetic attempts to act like he's god's gift to women, and-most importantly-those who actually took something from the music.
