Hi, I'm so glad I found your page- Im a huge fan of they guys and I love how you have young to old stuff on here.
Ive seen Silverchair many times and met them also and no matter how many times I hear the same song over and over Daniel always has passion in his vocals and so much energy in his performance.
I saw them at Big Day Out 2008, Gold Coast and yet again I totally loved them however, I did hear a lot of complaints that they were shit??? I think because the crowd were ready to mosh and spaz around like the old Frog Stomp days and not appreciating the amazing talent in Daniels vocals when he sang. His voice is so strong and can hit so many ranges... the band has matured so much! or maybe.... Ive 'matured' and I don't want to walk around with a tea-towel around my neck for a neck-brace after a good nights mosh'n fest????

I wrote them a letter telling them what their concert meant to me.

They performed right out the back of where I live at USQ. It was pretty amazing that they literally came to my home.

I'm still buzzed about. The night after they left I went out on the oval they performed on and relived it in my mind.

I miss them though.
