The Ouroboros is an ancient symbol depicting a serpent or dragon swallowing its own tail and forming a circle. It has been used to represent many things over the ages, but it most generally symbolizes ideas of cyclicality, unity, or infinity.

7 is an important number in ancient numerology, mainly because of the 7 ancient planets which were all assigned a certain day of the week. 12 is for the 12 signs of the zodiac and the 12 months of the year.

"The distinction between past, present, and future is only a stubbornly persistent illusion"
-Albert Einstien

"Do not spoil what you have by desiring what you have not; but remember that what you now have was once among the things you only hoped for."
-Epicurus
"The Christian religion and Masonry have one and the same common origin: Both are derived from the worship of the Sun. The difference between their origin is, that the Christian religion is a parody on the worship of the Sun, in which they put a man whom they call Christ, in the place of the Sun, and pay him the same adoration which was originally paid to the Sun."
-Thomas Paine

"Time, which condenses nebulae, lights up suns, brings life and thought upon planets theretofore steeped in death, and gives back ephemeral worlds to dissolution and the fertile chaos of the everlasting universe--Time knows nought of gods nor of the dim and fallacious hopes of ignorant mortals."
-Jules Soury

It's always good to check the foundation that your building on. Look under and examine the integrity of the foundation before standing on it. See if it can take the weight. Now you're "standing under" to get "understanding."

I've left a link to a website called "christianism". This is an excellent website about the origins of religion.

Origins of Religion

"The fable of Christ and his twelve apostles, which is a parody on the sun and the twelve signs of the zodiac, copied from the ancient religions of the eastern world, is the least hurtful part. Everything told of Christ has reference to the sun. His reported resurrection is at sunrise, and that on the first day of the week; that is, on the day anciently dedicated to the sun, and from thence called Sunday — in Latin Dies Solis, the day of the sun; as the next day, Monday, is Moon-day. But there is no room in a letter to explain these things."
-Thomas Paine
