This is the title song of my new CD "He Is No Fool." Jim Elliot is the one who made this line famous. "He is no fool who gives what he cannot keep so that he can gain that which he cannot lose." He was killed by the Auca Indian tribe back in January of 1956 in the jungles of Ecuador. He gave his life as a martyr for Jesus Christ. The cover of this CD is a picture of the beach on which Jim and 4 other missionary colleagues were killed, (nicknamed Palm Beach,) the Indians came upon them suddenly and killed them with spears on this very spot. Also on the cover is a picture of Jim Elliot as well as the original paper from his diary which contains the quoted line in his own hand writing.
