About Me:
Salutations! My name is James Garritson and my primary goal in life is to serve my Lord, Master, and Redeemer, Jesus Christ. I am thankful that Jesus has given me the gift of salvation by paying for my sins upon a sinner's cross. I believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God and by placing my faith in Him I have passed from death into life. God is so good and full of love to have saved me from the wrath I truly deserved. While life is sometimes full of hardships, Jesus is always there for me. Since God is love, I pray my heart will radiate love to everybody I know and meet.
In my thirty-two years of life, God has blessed me with numerous treasures. My faith, family, freedom, job, convictions, and health are true blessings that I praise God for everyday. I am the oldest child of a family of fourteen kids. My nine brothers and four sisters are true gifts from the Almighty. It is my prayer that my siblings will all follow Jesus Christ and let their lights shine in this dark world. Because I was born in America, I have the precious gift of freedom. It is a true blessing that I still may proclaim Jesus Christ and have some economic freedoms in this nation. Thank you Father God for all of the wonderful provisions you have provided me with.
I have been a middle school history and English teacher for nine years now. I currently teach 7th and 8th grade history at Bear Valley Middle School in Escondido, California. Although teaching middle school is sometimes challenging, I really enjoy working with this student age group. Middle school is when many students truly begin to understand why knowledge is important. These students may ask lots of questions, critically think about social issues, and even form unique opinions. I praise God for making me a teacher at this moment in my life. Teaching is an excellent opportunity to positively shape young minds. History is an exciting subject to teach because I can show students how past events directly affect our modern lives. My prayer is to do an excellent job in educating young minds.
Running will always represent the sport which unified my family. Since I was eight years old, I've been a long distance runner. During my childhood, my siblings and I ran thousands of races that ranged from the 1500m to the half marathon distance. Although running is sometimes difficult, it is good for the health of both the mind and body. Years ago I learned I had a lower back injury. This caused me to lower the amount of miles I run and made me understand just how fragile our human body really is. I still enjoy running very much--especially with my siblings, but no longer competively compete in races.
I am very fascinated by digital devices and digitizing information. I hope to eventually digitize classic books exactly like they were published years ago. Digee.com will one day become a digital book portal. I just need to find the time to begin making my digees (Dynamic Information Graphical Electric Editions).
If I could meet one person, it would be Jesus Christ. When I go to heaven, I will finally meet the Lord Jesus and the many Christian saints who lived their lives for Him while on this earth. My desire is to model my life according to God's Word.
Schools:
Cal State Fullerton, National University, Mt. San Antonio College, Fullerton College, Shelton State College
Hobbies:
My interests include studying Christianity, following local and world news stories, keeping up-to-date about technology and business, and staying informed about constitutional issues. I love web design, home-improvement projects, running, antique books, family, comic art, G.I. Joe, and multimedia software. I continue to ask God to give me true knowledge and wisdom.
Movies:
I try to watch a variety of movies--whether they are cartoons, historical epics, comedies, romances, foreign films, or musicals. Braveheart is one of the greastest movies ever made. Although it is historically inaccurate, it truly represents what freedom is all about. Mel Gibson did an awesome job directing this movie and playing the main character, Sir William Wallace. It's a Wonderful Life, Ben Hur, Gone with the Wind, and other classic movies are all worth seeing. I also like the entire Rocky series, most classic Disney movies, most Pixar movies, the entire Star Wars series, Labyrinth, the Robotech series, Dumb and Dumber, Luther, gods and Generals, 1776, Napoleon Dynamite, and any movie that has meaningful character development and a good story.
I don't watch much television. I occupy time creating things on my computer, running, reading, watching DVDS, working on house projects, and continuing my quest for knowledge. Software and hardware give me the ability to create websites, pictures, graphics, logos, blogs, and videos. Technology provides unlimited creativity, but it has not made my life any easier.
Music:
My taste in music is very eclectic. I enjoy listening to Christian rock and worship music, soundtracks, historical ballads, rock, some country music, and anything that is pleasant to hear. I really like these bands and artists: Johnny Cash, Delirious, Elvis, Skillet, Meatloaf, Lorena McKennitt, and Audio Adrenaline. I can appreciate many different types of music, as long as it is wholesome, uplifting, and doesn't profane our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
Books:
The Bible is the greatest book because it is the Word of God and contains all of the answers to life. If Americans will search the Bible for wisdom, our nation will always remain strong. If we continue to reject God, our destiny is hopeless. I also enjoy reading the daily newspaper and PC Magazine. There are many websites I enjoy reading when I find the time. Since my life is so busy, I often wish I had more time to read.

The Supreme Court has the right to lift laws that are deemed unconstitutional.
Then PLEASE vote YES on Proposition 8.
NO to gay "marriage."
NO to judicial tyranny - anywhere.
Can we be friends? Thanks!
Favorited on my page. Major view-count fudging and shills from youtube. See it before they "pull it."
