Who do we serve?
Opportunity Enterprises provides services to individuals with disabilities of all ages, whether they have physical, emotional, and/or developmental disabilities. Today, 1,100 individuals are served in Porter County and throughout Northwest Indiana.
When were we established?
Opportunity Enterprises was established in 1967.
What do we provide?
Opportunity Enterprises promotes self-sufficiency and life choices for individuals with disabilities.
What are our programs and services?
Opportunity Enterprises offers a multitude of programs, including early intervention for children and transition to life after high school for secondary students. For adults, Opportunity Enterprises provides residential services, industrial assembly work, art instruction, assistive technology, massage, community job placement, transportation and a day program for disabled senior citizens.
What are our goals?
To continue to provide quality service and innovative programs for all customers; persons served, staff, board members, donors, and the community at large. As we have for over the past 40 years, we strive to expand service capacity with our current facilities and with future facilities. Our vision is to be the leading service provider to individuals with disabilities in Porter County and Northwest Indiana.
