Hey guys I have lost 7 1/2 pounds in the last 6 weeks and I am excited. How is everyone else.

I am a chiropractic student in Dallas, but my wife and her family are from OKC so I guess you can say I call OKC home. I am beginning to commute to work via bicycle. I think this is going to be a tremendous way for me to lose weight, get in shape and reduce fuel consumption/pollutio n. I agree with the comments above about needing more sidewalks/bike lanes on city streets and recreational bike paths. I think if everyone made it a habit to ride their bike to work 3-5 days per week, it would make a tremendous improvement in their health and fitness levels.

Allow to me to go on a tangent here. I think the OKC public school system's lunch program is a JOKE! If I was mayor this is the first priority I would have in allowing children to rid themselves of obesity.

Come on man. Average weight loss on your website is 3 pounds per person! Heck! I can lose that much in a day or two. And this has been up since DECEMBER 2007? I support you guys and all, but you need to get a little more proactive in this effort. What have you done besides a website and a YouTube channel? Have you paved new sidewalks and parks, like you said you would? Have you made new gyms or encouraged kids to be healthier? You need a new strategy.

Why haven't more people subscribed? You'll never hit a million at this rate.

Mayor Cornett, I just want to say THANK YOU !! Being in the spot light as you are and and being such a great role model for all of us. I have to say that you have inspired me to do better, be better and take action to live a healthier life. In most cases people will say what you should do but not follow there own advise, you have! For this you have gained my respect and admiration as a REAL person and not just another hypocrite as others have proven to be. Thank you once again.
